👀 Take a look at this!
A team at @IowaMed and collaborators found that #iPSCs generated using a precision robotic cell culture platform gave rise to retinal #organoids that were indistinguishable from those derived from manually generated iPSCs.

Did you know that stem cells, while possessing immense regenerative potential, are also prone to genetic instability?
While this may sound concerning, it's important to note that scientists are actively researching ways to mitigate this genetic instability in stem cells, in order to harness their therapeutic potential for a wide range of diseases and conditions.

There are endless possibilities for treatments using stem cells.
One example of success with this treatment has been documented in the repair of heart defects in children.
However, treatment of heart defects in babies has proven successful in some case with the use of stem cells.
The stem cells which are injected directly into the heart have been able to revitalise heart defects, hopefully preventing the future need to complex surgeries and / or transplants.
