Some @OC_Transpo routes like #290 being cancelled completely.
Means extra 800m, 11 minute walk to @HuntClubCA #92 which will only come hourly in off-peak, never on weekends. You can’t get from here in @RiversideParkCR to busy Brookfield HS.

Do we know how long “NO TRESPASSING” sign along hydro corridor will remain? Last year was work to upgrade lines, but it’s over and should revert to the way it was the last 60 years: open recreational access. From Southmore backyards for example.

It is a curve, coming DOWN the hill from the Plante traffic lights towards the railway tracks several cars go off, cross the sidewalk and end up in the brush every winter.
Vehicles increase speed and loose control due to camber of road in ice, rain and snow.
Hopefully the @ottawacity proposal to make the dangerous McCarthy hill curve (between the tracks and Plante traffic light) is better than the options presented a few years ago.

Sadly, takes less than a minute to saw and tip each 50 year-old pine at Billy Bishop Private and Hunt Club. A large part of forest already stripped. Police keeping an eye on potential trespassers?

Also complete discontinuation of @OC_Transpo #290, so far ends of Fielding, Southmore and other side of VIA track underpass etc have a much longer walk. No buses on S end of Springland.
