An outage took 60 minutes to fix. Communicating the return to business as usual took three hours. With Crises Control, one customer reduced that to 66 minutes, saving 114 minutes. How quickly could your organisation update everyone? #IncidentManagement #BusinessContinuity

An up-to-date incident response plan helps organisations isolate issues, communicate clearly and coordinate tasks when critical infrastructure is targeted. Shared visibility across people and actions supports operational resilience.
Nation-state cyber actors are targeting #CriticalInfrastructure. Having an up-to-date incident response plan can help your org quickly and effectively isolate, contain, eradicate, remediate, and communicate incidents. Get started: cisa.gov/cybersecurity-aware…

When manufacturing systems go down, the work doesn't stop. But can your team track every task, deadline and outstanding action? Clear task ownership helps prevent critical work from slipping through the cracks. How would your team manage?

Flight disruptions from Cyclone Arnab underline how weather can interrupt critical operations. Organisations with pre-tested communication and task tools keep people informed and recover faster.
Cyclone Arnab brings flight operations to a halt at 3 Andhra Pradesh airports! Flights suspended at Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Rajahmundry airports. • Air India: 6 flights cancelled • Air India Express: 13 flights cancelled • IndiGo: Operations suspended at affected AP airports • Akasa Air: Delhi–Bhogapuram return service cancelled Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, Varanasi, Prayagraj and Gorakhpur may also face flight delays. Civil Aviation Ministry advises passengers to confirm flight status before heading to airports.

The production line is ready to restart. But is it safe? After a cyber incident, restoring systems isn't the same as confirming production can resume safely. Clear ownership and evidence matter. Read our latest blog: crises-control.com/blogs/who… #Manufacturing #CyberSecurity

National crisis committees reviewing cyclone readiness show the value of joined-up coordination. Organisations face the same need for shared visibility of people, communications and critical tasks when weather disrupts operations.
Cabinet Secretary, Dr. T. V. Somanathan chaired a meeting of the National Crisis Management Committee (NCMC) to review preparedness for the impending cyclone in the Bay of Bengal 🔹Director General, India Meteorological Department (IMD) briefed the Committee that the deep depression over East central and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved nearly Westwards and intensified into cyclonic storm #ARNAB and lay centered at 0530 hrs IST of today over East central and adjoining West central Bay of Bengal about 590 km Northwest of Sri Vijaya Puram (Andaman Islands) 650 km East-Southeast of Vishakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), 730 km East-Southeast of Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh), 830 km East of Machilipatnam (Andhra Pradesh) and 910 km East of Bapatla (Andhra Pradesh). 🔹It is forecast to move west-northwestwards till 27th October and then northwestwards towards Andhra Pradesh coast. It is likely to cross Andhra Pradesh & Yanam coasts between Bapatla and Visakhapatnam as a very severe cyclonic storm with the maximum sustained wind speed of 115-125 kmph gusting to 140 kmph by forenoon of 28th October, 2026. 🔹Thereafter it is likely to affect districts in Telangana, Southern Odisha, South & Central Chhattisgarh apart from Eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Thanks for sharing. Plans that rely on one key individual create a single point of failure. Documenting roles, deputies and decision authorities, then testing them under pressure, is what turns a document into operational capability.

The site network is down. The line is still running. Phone in a locker. No laptop on the floor. Contractors not on your email domain. If email is the only route, who gets left out? Read more: crises-control.com/blogs/ale… #Manufacturing #BusinessContinuity

A cyber attack that stopped production for weeks and put hundreds of thousands of jobs at risk. The real test is how quickly teams can align, communicate and restore operations when the unexpected hits.
The cyber-attack that crippled operations at Jaguar Land Rover last year was state-sponsored, says former defence minister Al Carns. It cost as much as £2.1 billion and put 200,000 jobs in doubt. telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/10…

The real test is whether teams can still execute a calm, prioritised response when multiple high severity issues land at once. Automation helps surface problems, but clear decision rights and practised escalation paths still determine the outcome.

Token and dependency management is becoming a core resilience issue, not just a cost one. Organisations that map critical functions to the systems that support them recover faster when usage or availability shifts unexpectedly.

Precautionary isolation of services is often the right call when a widespread vulnerability appears. The harder operational test is knowing which functions must stay available and how teams coordinate status updates while patches are applied.

Cyber incidents can force facilities offline and push teams onto manual processes within hours. Clear ownership of communications, task tracking and status updates helps organisations keep people safe and critical work moving while systems are restored.
Day 22 of #CybersecurityAwarenessMonth The July 26, 2026 cyber incident at AnMed Health disrupted services across more than 80 facilities. Cyberattacks don't just steal data; they can disrupt critical operations. If your systems went down today, could your business continue?

A substation doesn’t fail on schedule. Sending the alert is the easy part. The next 20 minutes are the test: — who was reached — who acknowledged — which tasks are done, across every site — what you hand the regulator Sending an alert is not a response plan. #emergencycomms

Three substations. One storm. Who’s in command? When sites are affected, competing priorities, limited resources and conflicting updates can complicate incident response. Clear roles and coordinated decisions matter. Can you respond effectively? #IncidentManagement

An alert has been sent. But has anyone taken responsibility? #Energy operators need more than notifications. They need to track acknowledgements, assign incident tasks and coordinate the response. Crises Control connects #MassNotification with #IncidentManagement.
