I think the most disappointing thing about Alexander Isak forcing his move to Liverpool is that he’s disrespected his very own legacy at Newcastle United.
The pin up boy, every young fan’s favourite player and the man that scored the winning goal to end a 70 year trophy drought. He was a club legend and could do no wrong.
But this summer, he did. He’s essentially thrown those three years away, as if he had very little or no respect for the bonds he had built and the things he himself had achieved. It’s a quite incredible fall from grace for someone who had written their name into club folklore #NUFC #LFC

It is a bit mad that Isak hasn’t even bothered to travel. Injured or not, you’re contracted to the club and for a commercial trip like that he has to be there. Diaz has wanted to leave Liverpool for weeks, yet still went on their tour. Really poor from him imo. #NUFC

Newcastle were brilliant today and have now beaten Man City, Man United, Spurs, Arsenal & Chelsea at SJP this season. They have taken 10 points from 12 since international break and suddenly look like favourites in the race for the Europa League.
