In forex trading, nobody has a monopoly on knowledge.
Whenever I see retail traders, who are just like the rest of us speculating in the market, bragging that nobody can do what they do or that nobody trades better than them, I simply laugh.
The truth is, unless you are among the tiny fraction of institutions and participants with significant influence over the market, you are also navigating uncertainty and speculating like everyone else.
Nobody is in competition with anybody. Why compare or brag about a market that can humble anyone today and lift that same person tomorrow?
Focus on conquering yourself. Improve your discipline, refine your strategy, master your emotions and become better than you were yesterday.
Your only real competition in this market is the person you were yesterday.
I honestly don’t understand why we struggle so much with humility and healthy competition in this part of the world.
