Out of 117 in Chikkaballapura, 60 are from Bagepalli Taluk. Same goes with Tumakuru where most of the Telugu inscriptions are from Pavagada Taluk. The only one insc in Bagalakot is from Badami temple cave. It was inscribed at the time of Aravidu Kings of Vijayanagara.

Map showing Telungu inscriptions in Karnataka. We can see Tulu, Kodava regions have no influence at all, same in some northern and western districts. But other districts to the east have had Telungu inscriptions, this coincides with the presence of Telungu speakers there.
