Today, Canada is giving serious consideration to changing the name of Lake Michigan to Lake Epstein as we won’t be doing business with pedophile rapist presidents any longer.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. - DB

The bike lanes look empty while you're stuck in traffic because the people using them aren't stuck in traffic.
I'm sorry this is happening to you.

I spent some time up in Toronto this past week, a city that never fails to impress and delight me. Canadians are some of the nicest and best educated folks on the planet and it is hard to overstate how much they absolutely despise Donald Trump. Also, Rush was f’n amazing!🤘🏻

Unless you held your personal phone up to a dying patient so they could gasp “I’m sorry…I love you…goodbye…” to their family on a group call you organized, you do not judge Fauci.
Unless you did the same for a patient who was already unresponsive and nearing death so their loved ones could say the things they never said and you were never meant to hear, you do not judge Fauci.
Unless you rationed oxygen, medical equipment and life-saving medications, because your top-rate, first-world country, and its self-aggrandizing medical system failed, you do not judge Fauci.
Unless you’ve lost three patients in 45 minutes going from one bedside to the next so they did not die alone, praying the prayers a priest was meant to say because they could not come, you do not judge Fauci.
Unless you’ve zipped a human being in a bag knowing no one else would ever gaze upon that face again, and placed it on a table in an office or on the floor of a refrigerated trailer meant for sides of beef, you do not judge Fauci.
Unless you hold a degree in nursing or medicine, or epidemiology, or public health, or at the very least can connect the dots, the very simple dots, you do not judge Fauci.
For if you lived and sit in judgment of decisions you did not make and do not understand, decisions for which you were never considered, and never would be, you are a fool and look dumb before humanity and God.
And may God help you, because you clearly cannot help yourself.

The major piece of news I have been waiting to share
⬇️
@NHSNotts UNDER CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION FOR CORPORATE MANSLAUGHTER.
@thetimes
‘Detectives (@northumbriapol ) have informed the trust’s bosses and told them to preserve all records related to the June 2023 attacks.
The trust said that it would co-operate with the inquiry.
The move is likely to send ‘shockwaves’ through the NHS as it shifts the case against the trust from treatment failures to the question of whether it was directly responsible for the killings’.
COMMENT:
As a trust we hold you to account for the loss of our son, for Grace and for Ian.
Yes - YOU.
To all of the negligent, inept and failed clinicians, practitioners and managers.
TOP DOWN.
You WILL be held to account.
You (alongside the Calocane family, the @nottspolice, @leicspolice and @CPSUK ).
You have blood on your hands. You know it, I know it, and now the country will know it.
Whatever it takes, you will be held to account.
I will post in full tomorrow….

Trump is currently at war with Iran to achieve a peace deal that was already in place.
Trump is engaged in a Trade War with Canada to achieve a trade deal that was not only already in place, but his. He called it the best deal in American History.
Take off your Carney hate blinders for a minute and acknowledge the absolute circus that is Donald Trump.
You can criticize Carney all you'd like, but acknowledge reality too....

Canada doesn’t need tariffs. It needs an export tax.
Here’s what the US actually cannot replace on short notice:
Potash. Canada supplies 85-88% of what American farmers put on their fields. Russia, the next largest source, covers maybe 9% of that gap. Squeeze this and it’s not a trade story, it’s a farm input cost story, felt at the grocery store within a season.
Uranium. Canada supplied 33% of the uranium that fueled US reactors in 2024, more than any other country on earth. The US is trying to expand nuclear right now to keep up with AI power demand. There is no faster way to sabotage that plan than choking the fuel supply.
Crude oil. Canada is over 60% of US crude oil imports, up from 41% a decade ago. Midwest refineries are built specifically to run heavy Canadian crude. You don’t just redirect that to Saudi light sweet overnight. Gas prices would feel it fast.
Nickel. Canada provides roughly half of US nickel needs. America has exactly one operating nickel mine. One.
Softwood lumber. About 74% of US softwood lumber imports are Canadian. Homebuilders are already choking on tariffs pushing housing costs up. Cut the supply and you make the affordability crisis worse, guaranteed.
Electricity. Ontario and Quebec feed power straight into the US grid. Border states don’t have a backup plan for that capacity sitting in a drawer somewhere.
None of this is about hurting Americans for spite. It’s about pointing out that the “just tariff Canada” strategy assumes Canada has no leverage. That’s false. These are inputs the US cannot substitute in months, some of them not for years. An export tax on any of these turns the pain asymmetric fast, and Washington knows it, which is exactly why potash and uranium got added to the US critical minerals list once this became obvious.
Trade wars run on the assumption the other side has no cards. Canada has cards. It’s just never been willing to actually play them.

The Politest Economic Weapon Ever Deployed. Eighteen months in, Canada’s boycott of American goods has gone from consumer tantrum to structural fact. Canadian spending on US goods and services fell by tens of billions of dollars last year.
Canada imported 94,148 fewer American-made cars, a 12 percent decline. Travel alone has drained roughly $4.5 billion from the US economy, with more expected in 2026, and up to 42,100 jobs have vanished in border regions that once depended on Canadian visitors.
Which brings us to Senator Adam Schiff of California, who took to X this week pleading that the boycott of California wine is causing devastating harm to winegrowers, after writing to Quebec’s premier about a lost $434 million market. Quebec’s answer, politely translated: the boycott stays until the tariffs go.
That is the remarkable part. Nobody organized this. No leader, no campaign, no committee. Ninety-one percent of Canadians simply decided, and American senators are now writing letters asking them to please stop.
My neighbor, Ed, was ninety one. Lived alone. Had a cat named Mr. Buttons.
Ed died three weeks ago. Heart attack. Quiet. Quick.
I didn't know him well. We'd wave. Small talk about the weather. That's it.
Two days after he died, there's a knock on my door.
It's Ed's daughter. I'd never met her.
Ed's daughter: Hi. I'm Rachel. Ed's daughter.
Me: Oh. I'm so sorry for your loss.
Rachel: Thank you. I'm here about the cat.
Me: The cat?
Rachel: Mr. Buttons. My dad left instructions. He wanted you to take him.
Me: What?
Rachel: He left a note. Said you were the only person on the street who didn't hate the cat.
Me: I don't even know the cat.
Rachel: Apparently you fed him once.
I tried to remember. Then it clicked.
Six months ago, Ed was out of town. He asked if I'd feed Mr. Buttons for two days. I said yes. I fed the cat. That was it.
Me: I fed him one time.
Rachel: Well, he left the cat to you.
Me: I don't want a cat.
Rachel: Neither do I. I'm allergic.
Me: So take him to a shelter.
Rachel: He's eighteen years old. No one's going to adopt him.
Me: That's not my problem.
Rachel: Please. I'll pay for his food. I just need someone to take him.
My wife appeared behind me.
My wife: We'll take him.
Me: What?
My wife: We'll take the cat.
Rachel looked relieved.
Rachel: Really?
My wife: Yes. Bring him over.
Rachel left. I turned to my wife.
Me: We're not cat people.
My wife: Ed left you his cat. We're taking the cat.
Me: I don't want a cat.
My wife: Too bad.
An hour later, Rachel showed up with Mr. Buttons. He's the ugliest cat I've ever seen. One eye. Half a tail. Looks like he lost a fight with a lawnmower.
Rachel: He's very sweet.
She handed me a carrier and left.
I put the carrier in the living room and opened it.
Mr. Buttons walked out, looked at me, and hissed.
Me: Great.
For three days, the cat hid under the couch. Wouldn't eat. Wouldn't come out.
My wife: Maybe he's grieving.
Me: He's a cat.
My wife: Cats grieve.
On day four, I'm sitting on the couch watching TV and Mr. Buttons jumps up next to me.
Just sits there.
I didn't move.
He curled up and fell asleep.
Now he follows me everywhere. Kitchen. Garage. Bathroom.
My wife thinks it's hilarious.
My wife: He loves you.
Me: I don't love him.
My wife: Yes you do.
Last week I took him to the vet. Spent $300 on bloodwork.
The vet said he's in good shape for eighteen.
I told my wife.
My wife: See? He's going to be around for a while.
Me: That's not comforting.
Yesterday I caught myself talking to him.
Me: You want dinner?
Mr. Buttons meowed.
Me: Yeah, me too.
My wife walked in.
My wife: Are you talking to the cat?
Me: No.
She smiled.
I'm a cat person now.
I hate it.
