I would like to personally congratulate @lisamurkowski , @SenSusanCollins , @SenMcConnell , and @SenThomTillis for their role in yesterday's election disaster.
Without them, Congress would have passed the SAVE America Act, ensuring our elections were secure.
Thanks, guys!

Thune's senate failed all of us. They stalled on every single bill the House passed and cost the GOP BIG last night.
God help us in the coming two years.

Understand the implications of what happened in Texas last night.
Gina Hinojosa has called on Gov. Abbott to end state & local cooperation with ICE & she can order that on day one.
Hinojosa voted against the 2017 SB 4 as a TX state rep. The bill was essentially a sanctuary cities ban and required TX law enforcement to cooperate with ICE detainers. She then voted against another SB 4 in 2023, which made it a state crime to cross illegally into Texas.
Should there be another border crisis in coming years, there will likely be no resistance from Texas at the border. No Texas DPS, no TX National Guard, no razor wire or water buoys, and no Operation Lone Star, which Hinojosa called a “dog and pony show” and “political theater”.
Remember when 15,000 Haitians surged illegally into Del Rio, TX in 2021 under the international bridge? That was only stopped because Texas DPS responded on Abbott’s orders and physically blocked further crossings by lining up their cruisers to form a wall. The Biden Border Patrol was caught off guard and offered almost no resistance, except for some horseback agents who were falsely slandered for “whipping”.
Additionally, because Republicans failed to pass any legislation codifying President Trump’s border security measures, if Dems take the White House in 2028, that Dem president could, if he/she wants to, reverse every single Trump border security policy immediately upon taking office because they were all done at the executive level, and they can order Border Patrol to go back to a passive catch & release policy like we saw under Biden.

My daughter reminded me, that unless Jesus is on the ballot, there is no perfect candidate.
Ugh, okay, she’s right.
Guess I’ll get my booty to the polls and vote Red. No matter how upset I am, it’s still better than voting for complete degenerates.
Evan Barker says she raised tens of millions of dollars for Democrats like Ilhan Omar, Cori Bush, and Jasmine Crockett. She was there the day Bernie Sanders first met AOC. But while standing on the floor of the 2024 DNC – during Oprah Winfrey's speech – something snapped.
“I realized that the Democratic Party had irreparably changed, in my opinion, and that Kamala Harris was not going to win the presidential election,” @EvanWCH tells me.
She says the progressive movement drifted from unions, workers, and healthcare to open borders and defunding the police. Today it embraces ideological extremists and radicals like Hasan Piker, who infamously said America "deserved" 9/11.
“Worst of all: the obsession with identity politics and the denigration of men,” Evan explains. Her split with the party began "when I actually had a little baby boy, in 2022, and I could no longer support a lot of these policies and just the general attitude."
When ideology prevails, human suffering always goes up.
Evan Barker's book "Nothing Left: Confessions of a Democratic Operative" is available now.

🚨 MARYLAND HEALTH INSURANCE PREMIUMS JUMP 14.6% FOR 2027 — ANOTHER HIT TO HOUSEHOLD AFFORDABILITY
Marylanders shopping for health coverage face another expensive year as open enrollment begins November 1. State regulators have approved double-digit premium increases, adding to financial pressures already facing families and small businesses.
The increases raise questions about healthcare costs, insurance affordability and the long-term expense of government subsidies.
▪️ 14.6% PREMIUM INCREASE: Maryland approved an average 14.6% increase for unsubsidized individual Affordable Care Act plans in 2027.
▪️ SMALL BUSINESSES HIT: Premiums in the small-group insurance market will increase an average of 10.2%, creating additional costs for employers and potentially workers.
▪️ UP TO $89 MORE MONTHLY: For a sample 40-year-old Baltimore-area resident, approved unsubsidized silver-plan increases range from $9 to $89 per month, depending on the insurer.
▪️ FEDERAL SUBSIDIES EXPIRED: Regulators cite expiring enhanced federal tax credits, changes to marketplace eligibility, and rising hospital and prescription drug costs.
▪️ STATE ASSISTANCE: Maryland’s premium assistance program may offset some increases for residents earning up to 400% of the federal poverty level. Actual household premiums will vary.
OPEN ENROLLMENT: November 1 through January 15. Enroll by December 31 for coverage beginning January 1.
Maryland officials emphasize that the state maintains comparatively low marketplace premiums nationally. But lower than other states doesn’t mean prices aren’t climbing.
The fundamental affordability question remains: Why do healthcare costs keep increasing, and how long can taxpayers subsidize rising premiums without addressing the underlying expenses?

🚨 HOLY CRAP! The Pentagon's Lt. Gen. Brett Sylvia — who was just fired by SecWar Pete Hegseth — has ADMITTED to leaking classified Iran and Ukraine intelligence to *two reporters* at two different outlets, according to an internal investigation report obtained by Axios
AND SO THERE IT IS.
Hegseth and Trump are PURGING the leakers! Now, PROSECUTE.
He allegedly met one reporter at a Silver Diner in Arlington and read off notes from a classified report on U.S. aid to Ukraine ‼️
Officials also suspect he deliberately wiped a Signal thread with another reporter about Iran.
Sylvia, the Joint Staff's top military planner, reportedly confessed on video after FAILING four polygraph tests
The Pentagon has referred the case to the DOJ for possible prosecution.
The media fearmongered when Hegseth started cleaning house, and now we know why he did it!
@PeteHegseth did the right thing here. We don't want these people near our national security.
