The set up from the corner that leads to the goal…All 11 #SAFC players back in the 18yd box, 10 in the 6yd vs 4 Poznan players. When it’s contested, 3 Poznan players are free & waiting for the knock down. No one within 15 yards of the Scorer. Set pieces need looking at…#POZSUN

Never been a fan of bringing everyone back. Ball gets cleared and it’s coming straight back. A set up like this gives the opposition a dilemma and they’ll generally keep 3 back to deal with the counter. Poznan’s deepest outfield player was 30 yards from #SAFC goal last night..

Got away with one against #bhafc a couple weeks back just before HT. Overload at the far post & a free header which came back off the post, 3-4 Brighton players unmarked. Same again this evening…Set pieces play a big part in the outcome of games & #safc need to tighten up!

How open was that first 45 mins! 😟 much better from #safc in terms of energy and ball retention compared to Sundays outing at B’mouth. Created a fair few openings and moved it well. On the flip side, Poznan have also played through Sland too easy at times. #pozsun #EuropaLeague

That was a tough watch! From the first minute until the last, #SAFC were miles off it. Work rate, ball retention, decision making, all sub-standard. Having both CF’s missing didn’t help, but first up, do your job individually. Too many simply weren’t at it… #BOUSUN #epl

Lively start from #Nufc pressing #Avfc high first 10 mins or so. since then, every time Villa have crossed the halfway line, Newcastle have been so open. Villa constantly driving at them with but haven’t made the most of their openings. Botman a very lucky man too!😧 #NEWAVL #epl

What a game of Football that was! #PSG ridiculous first half and worthy of the scoreline, but #MCFC could, and should, have scored about 8 second half there…😧🙁 👏🏼👏🏼 #UCL #MCIPSG

A great evening at the @BeaconofLight for the @SAFCFoL 25th anniversary awards dinner. A good catch up with a few of the former #safc lads. Well done to all of the Awards winners and to everyone involved at the foundation on a daily basis. 👏🏼👏🏼 #fol25 #sunderlandafc

How good are #bhafc btw. Scoring goals for fun and they’ve ran all over #arsenal there. It should’ve been about seven. 😟👏🏼👏🏼 #epl

Staggering that this is even a debate and that most people don’t know what’s what…🤨🤔 Volley: player to player on the full with no bounce. Half-volley: ball’s struck on the rise immediately after bouncing. This is neither. It’s just a bouncing ball that’s hit very well…👍🏼

It’s getting ridiculous now - this is NOT a volley and it is NOT a half-volley! He’s just hit the ball after it bounced!

A questionable decision 😟😂. A decent game though, which #safc shaded. #sunderland Up & running in the #EuropaLeague #uefa

Brentford v Sunderland: • Tough one, but the right call for Ballard goal. • #safc excellent 1st half, should’ve been in front at the break. • #brentford better 2nd half after making changes. • Pen is very soft, but Sland deserved at least a point from the game. #epl #bresun

Terrific working with @DC___6 today for @SkyFootball. Stoke nearly as impressive in the first half as my typing skills in this video. Might become as executive assistant…

Regardless of where the ball ends up. If a player flies into a challenge and gets nothing on the ball, but catches the player, it’s a foul…GK or not, it’s a mistimed attempt to win the ball. 😐🤷🏼‍♂️#epl #livnot

Same situation again last night😐 The Ball’s been played & Gakpo’s caught late by Fatawu. It’s a pen (or a free kick if it’s deemed to be just outside). #LFC fans fuming with the Forest one last week, will be the same ones adamant that this is a foul. #epl #IPSLIV
