Stanley Matthew’s - The first recipient of the Ballon D’Or.
Can you sum up Sir Stanley’s legacy on the game in ONE word?
We are recording the first few episodes of How Good Were They? Season 2!
Eusebio 🇵🇹 and Stanley Matthews 🏴 are first up!
Like if you’re going to post something like this - just check the actual rules first!
Just to highlight how fucking poor this Premier League refereeing is…
Jarred Gillett gives Newcastle offside, yet Aston Villa take the resulting free kick INSIDE the Newcastle half, exactly where the linesman is indicating the offside occurred.
And this is in the build-up to Villa’s goal.
Can someone explain how an offside offence in Villa’s half results in a free kick for Villa in Newcastle’s half? Make that make fucking sense. 🤦♂️

Really enjoyed the Wales performance vs Albania last night. Was so good to see a Welsh team just going for it for 90 minutes!
Even at 2 and 3-0 they continued to press. Brilliant 🏴
20 points would achieve absolutely nothing. It has to be a minimum of 40.
“20 points deducted. Every season.” 👀📉
Sean Dyche suggests repeated points deductions for Manchester City over several seasons ⚽️
Would that hurt more than relegation?

🤦♂️ this has to be the worst take I’ve ever seen on Twitter. Comparing Man City with Juventus is insane.
Calciopoli is known as Moggiopoli for a reason
People calling for Man City to be relegated just like JUVENTUS don't get it.
Man City controls like 10% of England's economy, The City Football Group has invested heavily in Manchester and London and the government doesn't want to lose that investment. It's completely impossible to punish Man City. Even the Premier League is scared of us.
So what did Juventus ever do for their country? Nothing. There you go. Levels man.

An incredible photo of 120,000 supporters packed into the Bernabéuo to watch Real Madrid face Derby County in 1975!

Odd this chat about a Red Cartel. It can't be a very effective one given teams in red have won only five of the last 17 Premier League titles. The other 12 have been won by Man City, Chelsea and Leicester. They all play in shades of blue
