Just a reminder.

🚨 SHOCKING BETRAYAL IN THE SENATE! 🚨
Rep. Tim Burchett just grilled Senate Leader John Thune: Why has the House bill to STOP U.S. taxpayer dollars from funding the TALIBAN been sitting for nearly 11 MONTHS with ZERO action?!
Thune admitted he hadn’t even READ it.
Every week of delay = $40 MILLION more of YOUR money flowing to terrorists in Afghanistan!
This is INSANE. Americans are funding our enemies while Congress sleeps?!

“My grandparents came here to become Americans, not to turn America into Italy.”
When my grandparents came here from Italy, nobody was kissing their asses trying to make them comfortable.
There was no “press 2 for Italian.” No expectation that the cashier, bank teller, or guy at the DMV spoke Italian. And they sure as fck didn’t demand it.
They learned English, worked their asses off, raised their families, and became proud Americans. They never forgot their roots, but they understood something we’ve apparently forgotten.
They came to America. America didn’t come to them.
Now expecting people to learn English is somehow controversial?
Give me a friggin break.
Be proud of your heritage. Speak whatever language you want at home. But don’t expect an entire country to adapt to you.
My grandparents came here to become Americans, not to turn America into Italy.
And I refuse to apologize for believing that still matters.

This church near my house gives away free food every Saturday.
People line up in front and sit for hours just to get some free groceries.
Judging by many of their vehicles, most of them don't appear to be hurting for money.
Does anyone else besides me find this odd?
