The improvements in GPT, Claude, Grok, Gemini, Llama in just 1 year have been amazing to watch.
The big question is whether there exists a ceiling to their intelligence, and if so, how does it compare to the collective intelligence of the human species.

Tesla FSD drove the entire way from underground garage to home after a Toronto FC game last night... (~50 minute drive). Check out the bold moments below!
this is insane in a good way @elonmusk
0:05 underground parking escape success
0:34 Liberty Village night traffic
2:00 super narrow and backed up road 🤯
4:00 left a gap for traffic to flow - very nice
5:35 truck driver cuts in & FSD handles it perfectly
6:02 Highway merge (QEW)
8:00 Highway interchange

As Cathie Wood states, Tesla is the biggest AI project on Earth
Cathie Wood 9 days ago: "Who is going to take the lions share of this market and its a winner takes most market"
"We believe that that the entire opportunity is going to generate revenues of 8 to 10 Trillion Dollars in 2030. Half of which will go to platforms like Tesla.
Tesla is the biggest artificial intelligence project in the world we believe as it moves to this goal of autonomous taxi networks."
Some will now wish they would have listened to Cathie 9 days ago.

Here's my conversation with Mark Zuckerberg, his 3rd time on the podcast, but this time we talked in the Metaverse as photorealistic avatars. This was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. It really felt like we were talking in-person, but we were miles apart 🤯 It's hard to put into words how awesome this was for someone like me who values the intimacy of in-person conversation. It gave me a glimpse of an exciting future with many new possibilities and fascinating questions about the nature of reality and human connection ❤

This is me speaking Spanish, thanks to amazing work by @Spotify AI engineers. The translation & voice-cloning are fully done by AI. Language can create barriers of understanding & thus fuel division. I can't wait for AI to break down this barrier & reveal our common humanity ❤
Great job @eldsjal @GustavS and everyone at @Spotify 🤯👊❤ I'm excited for what the future holds! Check out a full episode of me speaking in Spanish:

What I saw with the new Tesla Bot video posted on 𝕏 at 4:40PM 9/23, was nothing short of extraordinary. The initial moments of the video introduced us to Tesla Bot's ability to self-calibrate its limb and by integrating vision & joint position encoders, Optimus is showing a unique technological breakthrough, which is digital awareness of its limbs' spatial positioning. The Tesla Bot can now essentially use vision to self locate its limbs and self-calibrate them to get itself ready for more complex tasks that require more human-like motion (e.g. putting away small & large objects & organizing them in a cabinet/box).
Also, the Tesla Bot's neural network is trained end-to-end, where millions of videos are being fed as the input and the controls & actions are the output. So instead of relying on an immense amount of complex code, just like FSD Beta V12, it processes & learns how to do do these complex tasks using vision as its primary input.
Then, as I watch the bot sorting colored blocks, it may have seemed simple at face value for many, but the layers of complexity behind this are mind boggling. The bot's ability to autonomously adjust to a changing environment, as seen when the owner moves the blocks, signifies its ability to function & react effectively in our world that is very dynamic. If an object is misaligned, the Tesla Bot doesn't just recognize it, it corrects it. This autonomous corrective action of the bot straightening a block positioned sideways, shows that when something isn’t right, it’ll fix it (e.g. correcting a plate for your table that is not set up properly for dinner).
Then, right when you thought this was enough to blow your brains out, the bot stretches & balances on one foot, saying, "Namaste”, showing its ability to use its hands, chest, other leg, and the rest of its body to balance on one foot. This balancing feature means the Tesla Bot has the capability to balance on one foot, even if the weight is distributed unsymmetrically to each side of the body, like carrying different weighted objects & not falling.
This new revealing proves that the RATE of innovation at Tesla is unparalleled and does not to be slowing down any time soon. What an engineering feat this was for the Tesla team!

the cost of sequencing a human genome was over $300 million in 2001. today, it's a $200.
expect similar cost reduction curves in AI over the next 20 years.
