Spent some time reflecting today, trying to recognise how far I’ve come. And ngl… 2026 has been incredibly sh*tty IRL, but somehow, it’s also made me appreciate the things I have even more. Between losing multiple family members, saying goodbye to the family dog, my own dog going through quadruple lump removal surgery and recovering, receiving death threats, my little sister becoming seriously ill and needing major life changing surgery, and now finding out my dog is terminal with a brain tumour… it’s been a lot to process. I opened up to someone about this recently, and they asked me how I keep going, especially with Web3 being the pressure cooker that it is. Honestly, I don’t really know. I seem to have become that person people look at and wonder how the f*ck I’m still going. I’m grateful I’ve found the strength to keep showing up, but I’d be lying if I said it hasn’t taken a toll. I've learnt that being resilient doesn't mean you’re unaffected by what life throws at you. Sometimes, it just means you keep putting one foot in front of the other, even when you’re struggling. A big part of it is that I genuinely don’t want to let people down. There are people who believe in what we’re building, people who show up for this community, and people who put their trust in me. I don't take that lightly. I’m no miracle worker. I don’t have all the answers, and I’m figuring some things out as I go. But I can keep showing up, keep trying, and give the things I believe in the best of me that I can. Sometimes, that has to be enough, cz i believe there's brighter days ahead. But at the same time, the growth has been undeniable 🏕️
