ofcom wants every adult in the uk to show id to use social media
discord already leaked 70k id photos from its age checks last year. this just builds a bigger pile for the next one
🚨BREAKING: All Britons may need ID to use social media, the UK's online safety regulator today announces
“This plan for a government ‘social media ban’ is a national ID system by the back door.
Both the government and Ofcom have admitted that children will get around the ban, which means the real effect will be normalising adults and children alike to hand over their passports just to get online.
Hundreds of thousands of people without ID, who tend to be poorer people, and many more who don’t want to risk handing their passports over to foreign tech companies will be locked out of huge parts of the internet.
The plan will kill anonymity online, whilst the UK’s culture of speech policing is reaching a crisis point. The policy is painfully misguided, an Orwellian assault on free speech and privacy, and will make children no safer at all.
The false illusion that children aren’t on social media will cause the companies to abandon all their child safety measures. The Government could be promoting meaningful safety measures and supporting parental controls that genuinely protect children - instead, they’re demanding government ID from the whole population just for uncensored internet access. It is authoritarian madness.”

the AI hacking everything under the sun is good for one thing - its gonna prove to everyone that holding customer data is a liability
its gonna shine a bright light onto why KYC regulations are harming the ppl they are suppose to protect.
not holding sensitive customer data is the best way to protect it.
design systems that are privacy first, not surveillance first.
if you send prompts to a "confidential" AI API, someone can record it today and decrypt it once quantum computers get good enough
running the model in a TEE doesn't help with that. the key exchange does
so I started checking which providers actually do post-quantum TLS

You will never truly understand geopolitics until you recognise that Western governments are subordinate to U.S. corporate interests, which themselves are subordinate to the Financial Industrial Complex (FIC).
These interests are deeply aligned with other global power centres and major Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWFs).
Until you accept that reality, you’ll remain a useful idiot arguing about left versus right while the FIC and foreign SWFs quietly decide who you’re even allowed to argue about.
Following the money is reality.
Listening to the media is propaganda.
And voting for politicians is about as effective as leaving coins under your pillow and hoping the tooth fairy will save the day.

Ker imamo kasto patricijev in plebejcev.

The EU is asking the public what they think about forcing everyone to verify their identity before they can get permission to read, write and share information online, while outlawing online anonymity.
I will provide formal expert feedback, but I’ll lead with one question.
Why do their online child safety campaigns revolve around images of 4 year old children that every parent should already be able to protect?
Children aged 4 or 5 are not creating social media accounts themselves. If they are, they should probably be on a shortlist to work for NASA.
Smartphones already give parents the controls to block apps, block websites, restrict content and set time limits for their own children.
So why does protecting a 4 year old require every adult to prove who they are before they can communicate online?
If people comment, I’ll gather as many responses as I can for a white paper, alongside data from previous posts that generated more than 1 million impressions and heavy engagement.
It’s time we properly documented what people actually think about identity verification, online anonymity and government surveillance under the guise of do-called “child safety”.
If you comment, please keep it respectful and constructive.

Sj smo res eni norci. 1 mesec že poslušam kako se kregajo med sabo ali sme parlamentarna komisija koga pogledati, kako jih bodo pregledovali, koga bodo pregledovali,...
Obkroži ZA / obkroži PROTI!! 🤦
IN NAS PREGLEDUJEJO!! Brez sodnega naloga. Brez suma. Vsi peremo denar, vsi financiramo terorizem.
A smo resni?
Vsi podatki poštenih državljanov so sporni. Sploh če jih moraš odati neprostovoljno. ❌ ❌ ❌

In to za zaprtimi vrati!!!
STOP CHAT CONTROL 2.0. – Kaj morate vedeti:
Naj Chat Control 2.0 zavrnejo v celoti!
Ustavimo to, preden bo prepozno. Prosimo, delite naprej.
STOP CHAT CONTROL 2.0. - What you should know:
Tomorrow, 29 September, behind closed doors at the Council, the most draconian version of Chat Control 2.0 goes on the table. It is no longer only an intermediary reading all your private messages and cloud storage. It is a licence to search them for months, without suspicion against any individual.
The leaked Presidency note to delegations (11956/26, 10 September) proposes "authorisation of search plans for a period of time rather than on a case-by-case basis" for private chats and emails.
In plain terms: your messages, contacts, photos and cloud will be scanned under a state-issued licence for months, with no suspicion against you.
The same note admits that under this regime "a high volume of reports generated do not lead to any operational outcome." The Council's Legal Service already warned this is general and indiscriminate surveillance, illegal under EU law. The @Europarl_EN mandate says the opposite: judicial authorisation, targeted to specific persons, no scanning licences.
Tomorrow the pressure is on Parliament to fold. You remember the tricks used to push Chat Control 1.0 through and how @EPPGroup with @RobertaMetsola helped to push for it.
So fasten your seat belt for what is coming tomorrow, and call or write to your MEP and your government now to reject Chat Control 2.0. as a whole!
Remind them what this does to the privacy of every one of us.
Under a search plan, every chat, photo or contact the scanner flags is stored by the provider and sent to a new EU agency, the EU Centre, which keeps it and passes it to police. Any state authority can then demand it, with a deadline and a fine for delay, and nobody has to check who is really behind the request, in case it is hacked or weaponised.
That is exactly what happened at Revolut, and what keeps happening through abusive requests from authoritarian states, as we have reported for 13 years.
In the Revolut case the hackers got access to a real state mailbox. Their requests came from an authentic certified email (PEC) account of an Italian Prefecture on the Interior Ministry's domain, with Postal Police protocol numbers, as European Investigation Orders in the name of the Milan prosecutor, for about five months.
About 680 customers lost passports, selfies, home addresses, IBANs and full transaction histories. The files are being sold; hundreds of victims now fear kidnapping. No remedies exist as of now to protect against such attacks.
Let's stop it before it is too late. Please repost.

Every choice you make, where you decide to not embrace silence and stillness. You take another step backwards. You can be "doing everything right," but if you're deficient in silence, you're not getting the most of your interventions.
I'm using technology as the major culprit here, because it is the most obvious and most harmful. But this can be tied to many concepts on top — eating processed foods, drugs and alcohol, overexercising, overworking, overthinking, or even too much reading or writing.
Think of the lives our ancestors would have lived previously. Think of what the days were filled with. Even a few decades ago, there was opportunity for silence.
We can also be inspired by observing other animals besides humans, there's a lot to learn from them. They are completely present in the moment; they do not worry about the past or future; there's no concept of forgiveness because they don't hold grudges; and they are in silence or stillness for endless hours of the day. They live in an abundance in silence.
"If an animal could answer the question 'What time is it?' It would say NOW. There is no other time than NOW."
This layers into the idea that embracing the present moment puts you directly into a state of inner silence because every single thought you have is related to the past or future. This is very important. You cannot generate thoughts when you're in the absolute present.
So when I say silence. I don't simply mean you are sitting and doing nothing whilst the mind continuously wanders and is preoccupied (although it's beneficial and makes you head into the right direction). You need to make the mind quiescent with minimal thinking — and that requires practice and discipline. I will include some advice below to help with this, allowing you to unlock the deepest of physical, emotional, and spiritual capabilities that you didn't think were possible.
Here's some things to try and incorporate:
- Set aside 10 minutes of your day (building upwards in duration) to literally sit and have nothing planned besides being. Try to minimize your thoughts, but at the same time be the observer of your internal body and the external world around you. A trick I like to leverage here is to listen to the sounds of nature — perhaps the sound of trees moving or a bird chirping — and tune into the silence in between the sounds.
- Layer on any of the meditations I've outlined HERE and HERE as an excellent entry level to training the mind
- Incorporate a tech-detox once a month — where you go 1 or 2 days without any technology whatsoever. This is a time to be embracing that stillness and silence as much as you can.
- Have intention and presence in everything you do, feel the energy of the Earth nourishing you and grounding you (my Dan Tien meditation, alongside Qigong practices aid in comprehending this), which anchors you in whatever you're doing, which in itself, also helps create silence in daily activities.
- Eat your meals without checking your phone, exercise without listening to something, and when you wind down for sleep don't check your phone or watch a TV show. Instead, be present with the meal with every bite, literally feel the food nourishing you. Feel your muscles and fascia stretching and contracting with every movement. Feel your weight on the bed and its gravitational pull towards the heart of Mother Earth, making you feel nourished, safe, and grounded.
- Layer the idea of presence with everything you do with intention. As you walk, be present and notice the colours, scents, and temperature; as you cook/prepare food, be present with the aromas of the ingredients, preparing them, and cooking them; and so on.
You wake up, and check your phone. You eat your breakfast, and check your phone some more. You commute to work, and listen to a podcast. You have a break at work, you check your phone because it's been a few hours since the last time you checked. You drive home, and listen to a podcast. You go the gym, and you listen to a podcast, whilst checking your phone between your sets just in case you've missed anything important. You go for a walk, and the same thing happens, another opportunity to fill the void of silence with more noise.
If we are scrolling and looking at health stuff, or we're listening to a self help podcast, we think this is productive, and we justify our neglect of silence. I'm going to argue that this is the most counterproductive and useless choice of spending your time, at least in excess as I've outlined above.
When you distract yourself, your body can't fully heal. When you don't embrace silence and stillness, your body can't thrive. Without moments to sit, observe, and clear the mind, energy is constantly diverted away from physical and emotional healing.
And beyond this, and most importantly, you won't identify with true-self.

Ursula von der Leyen announced this week that everyone in the EU must use the official EU age verification app to verify their age before they can log into or post on social media and other digital services.
As an expert in online child safety, I'm here to expose the disinformation in each von der Leyen's statements. See below.
🇪🇺 The EU Kids Act is a pretext designed to enforce mandatory digital identity verification on everyone in Europe. The proposed legislation applies to any digital service featuring feeds, user generated content, or messaging:
Social media networks, video platforms, online gaming services, AI tools, and media streaming apps like Spotify. (@TimSweeneyEpic)
Under the proposal, digital services must enforce age restrictions across strict tiers. Tech companies must mandate age verification across all accounts to enforce these tiers legally.
When Australia introduced its social media ban, the government conceded it failed because platform level age checks weren’t reliable. They now reject age estimation as inadequate and shifted to demanding "robust" age checking.
💡 If you eliminate every unproven estimation method, you’re left with exactly 1 functional mechanism: identity verification. There's not other way to ensure age checking is "robust".
No government wants to admit citizens must prove their real identity just to access apps and basic streaming services like Spotify, so they hide behind the ambiguous phrase "robust age checking". This language is now used across Australia, the US, and Ireland to mandate identity checks while avoiding the public backlash of calling it what it is. I will research to see where else it’s being used.
Below is what Ursula von der Leyen told the European Parliament in Strasbourg along with my analsyis:
🇪🇺 "Today, much of this power has been taken out of the hands of parents... What our children need is time... But when a child has a smartphone, all of this is taken away."
💡 This framing falsely presents smartphones as uncontrollable. Apple and Google built free OS controls into iOS and Android settings, covering virtually every smartphone on the market.
These controls achieve every legitimate safety objective without collecting personal data or processing state credentials.
💡 Millions of parents use these parental controls to enforce screen time curfews, block app installations, and restrict communication.
💡 These settings operate at the device level. Teens can't bypass them when protected with a passcode.
To bypass this technical reality, the European Commission uses public grief to shut down logical analysis:
🇪🇺 "Day and night, parents see the costs, loss of sleep, anxiety, even self-harm, and in a growing number of cases, even fatal tragedies… a 14-year-old girl living in Belgium who took her life exactly one month ago, victim of bullying online... Honourable members, enough is enough."
💡 Citing personal tragedies replaces software engineering facts with emotional rhetoric. State laws and age gates don’t alter human behaviour or prevent online harassment. Regulators exploit grief to pass surveillance legislation without explaining how the underlying software mechanisms operate.
The Commission outlines specific age tiers to restrict access:
🇪🇺 "In sum, no social media under the age of 13. No personal account under the age of 15. That means from 13 to under 15, only mini accounts set up and supervised by parents or guardians with limited features and time restriction to one hour a day. And between 15 and 18, safe design will be an obligation for the platforms."
💡 Enforcing age tiers forces tech companies and service providers to rebuild their architecture around total access control. The must disable self-service account creation, purge unverified accounts, build supervised parental workflows, strip algorithmic feeds, and enforce strict session cutoffs.
💡 Social networks operate on open interaction algorithms that inherently expose people to unvetted content. Because software can’t dynamically filter these risks for minors, tech companies must block access for everyone until a person proves their real identity.
💡 It’s not just about social networks. They want the same bans for almost everything, including games and stream services. Even Spotify because it’s possible for customers to message people.
The Commission claims its proposed zero knowledge proof app protects personal privacy:
🇪🇺 "Age will be verified using EU certified tools like our age verification app. This app is built on zero knowledge proof. That means that the platform only learns one single thing, and that's whether you're old enough to allow access or not."
💡 This framing describes what an app or service receives while hiding what everyone must give up. A zero knowledge proof provides a mathematical confirmation, but that confirmation requires an authoritative issuer. Before the app generates a proof, a state approved entity must verify the person's real identity.
The Commission frames this shift as a victory against tech corporations:
🇪🇺 "I am aware that many perceive the power of Big Tech as overwhelming and impossible to roll back. I disagree... So we do not accept this. We are reversing the burden of proof. Now platforms will have to prove to us that they are safe. Because this is not about our minors accessing social media. It is about when and how we allow social media to access our minors."
💡 Social networks don’t access children; parents hand smartphones to children. Reversing the burden of proof forces everyone to verify their identity.
The European Commission confirmed the broader scope of this mandate:
🇪🇺 "We also know that not only minors are at risk. Addictive design, for example, are harming everyone. This is why we need a wider framework too, the Digital Fairness Act that we will propose in autumn."
🚨 Child safety is merely the initial wedge. The Digital Fairness Act expands state mandated identity verification to adults across all online services. Binding real identities to online activity permanently eliminates pseudonymous access, private communication, and democratic accountability.
🚨 Senior state officials and regulators know their demands have nothing to do with child safety. They work closely with tech companies and understand that iOS and Android already provide complete authority to restrict devices locally without collecting personal data. State officials deliberately ignore well established parental controls because they keep internet access under family control. Child safety is a public pretext.
🚨 Governments and regulators use child safety to establish mandatory identity verification across every app and digital service, eliminating online anonymity. When tech companies and state agencies link every social media post, private message, search term, geographic location, and financial transaction to a verified identity, they create a permanent digital dossier on every citizen with a global social graph that makes Cambridge Analytica look like a 2nd grade school science project.
💡 Binding people’s identity to daily activity enables predictive behavioural modelling too. By feeding identity data into automated predictive AI, governments, intelligence agencies, law enforcement, and tech companies move beyond surveillance past behaviour. They can map political affiliations, predict individual actions, flag dissent before it occurs, and control public opinion at scale. Eliminating online anonymity ends free speech, private communication, and democratic accountability.
As Larry Ellison stated at Oracle’s Financial Analyst Meeting in 2024:
"Citizens will be on their best behaviour, because we’re constantly recording and reporting everything that’s going on".
🙏🏻 Share this to expose how governments use child safety as a false pretext to force mandatory digital identity verification on everyone.

kopije potnih listov in vozniških dovoljenj
selfiji za preverjanje identitete
ime, datum rojstva, poklic, naslov
e-pošta in telefonska številka
IBAN, izpiski računov
celotna zgodovina transakcij, vključno z Bitcoinom
Sredstva niso bila ukradena. Sistemi Revoluta niso bili hekani. Gre za socialni inženiring, ne klasičen vdor. Prizadeti uporabniki so že prejeli obvestilo. Revolut naj bi vir blokiral in obvestil regulatorje.
Če uporabljaš Revolut:
preveri e-pošto in obvestila v aplikaciji
