If your first response (when called out) is to justify it with "after all I've done for you!", you might want to take inventory of your behavior because it seems like you didn't do it for others, but for yourself, which again ties into that whole "selfish, hypocrite" narrative.

In 5th grade, I went to DC for the Safety Patrol Conference, which meant walking around the city to sight-see. I have always had issues walking, but she didn't believe me. She called me "Sore Feet" the entire time and encouraged my peers to do the same.

And "fair pay" is a nebulous term because there isn't a suitable price floor for wages anymore. $7.25 an hour is considered "fair pay" and yet it still is a poverty wage.
Every care worker in our nation deserves fair pay, safe working conditions, and respect.
And every person in our nation deserves access to high-quality care, so they can live with safety, dignity, and self-determination.
That is the future @POTUS and I are fighting to build.
