The 2027 recruiting class is getting screwed right now.. Between the transfer portal, roster limitations, and the uncertainty surrounding the new 5-for-5 eligibility rule, college coaches don't even know which players they'll have returning next year But here's something I wish more families understood... If your ultimate goal is to play baseball for a long time and potentially get drafted, STOP obsessing over the division Find a coaching staff that's going to pour into you. A staff that has an actual plan to develop you physically, mechanically, and mentally over the next 3-4 years I'd rather see a kid go D2 or D3 and become an absolute STUD than go D1 just to say he's D1 Stop choosing colleges based on the logo on the jersey. Choose the coaching staff that's going to turn you into the player you want to become!

Jaren Holden (‘27 OH) has been up to 91 here in relief w/ some run to it. Athletic mover out there; has also mixed in a mid 70s breaker w/ bite. #WWBAWorlds @PG_Uncommitted @PG_OhioValley

You can let your trash fantasy team ruin your day… or you can bask in the glory of this “Away From The Mire” jam that Billy Strings ripped in Denver last night. The choice is yours.🔥

COMMIT: Kentucky is at it again. Bishop Fenwick outfielder Carter Shouse (@CShouse41) is headed to Lexington. Excellent hitter w/standout bat-to-ball skills + pitch recognition. Projects to the top of the order. The No. 65 high school prospect in the 2028 class. 👇PROFILE👇

Carter Shouse, the 31st overall ranked player in the Class of 2028, has announced his commitment to Kentucky. 2028 OF/LHP Carter Shouse (OH) is one of the more dynamic players in the country & has shown the two-way ability on the circuit for some time now. Shouse combines explosive natural tools with immense projectability. At the plate, he delivers a heavy barrel with explosive hand speed & effortless separation. On the mound, it’s a consistent low 90s fastball with run & good feel for a tight slider & deceptive changeup.

Dustin Pedroia nails it in this interview from Chasing Baseball Dreams Parent Advice! How many good baseball players are being passed over in favor of Showcase Ponies who can light up the radar guns but can’t pitch or guys that can hit the ball 500 feet in batting practice but can’t actually hit in games? This trend was created by non baseball people eliminating scouting positions in favor of interns with cameras and radar guns! The game has suffered tremendously by thinking throwing Velocity and Exit Velocity are the most important tools in baseball players! #shegone @notgaetti @BobFile @billdubs @iamrags @artofhitting @hittingguru7 @slider_sinker @SliderDom @low_and_outside @TheRealJHair @DMEASrecruiting @VandyonTigers @mikepiazza31 @KevinKennedyMLB @SalMarinello @RVGDag @AMBS_Kernan @TheKineticArm @WillClark22 @MLB @MLBPA @MLBPAA
