Starting point is two diff councils NYCC and HBC as the junior partner. Anomalies between duties and a lack of consistency. Weeds is hbc, big, dangerous weeds is nycc.

Now one unitary authority, responsible for the whole lot. Better as know who is responsible, can coordinate and creates cost savings.
Elections are May 22 are for current county council under diff boundaries. HG Central and Valley Gardens will combine.

Not yet decided. Parish Council for HG could control destiny depending on powers but is it replicating what is already in place with nycc.
Could be a ballot process but new nycc to decide....

HBC civic centre and depot will still be needd as HG is the most populous part of NY so could be a significant hub.

Grants from HBC have been a concern. HG is a significant grant giver. Relationships need to be built with NY and support for organisations with ED impact and local change like homeless project
