Sanity has prevailed …. For now…
The "No Right On Red" proposal for an increased amount of interactions across Metro Nashville has been withdrawn by the bill's sponsor.
Sandra Sepulveda says the right on red concern "is not something that’s imaginary, that’s abstract, its something that’s real that we are going to be preventing. I am glad that we are taking active measures," adding she's disappointed some of her colleagues are “not taking this seriously” and legislating “out of fear." bit.ly/4jqoAtk

President Trump should zero out funding for ALL non-governmental organizations - all NGOs - in his FY28 budget request to Congress.
Collateral damage is acceptable to rid the country of the taxpayer-funded NGO plague.

Almost everyone I serve with. There are some brave exceptions, but not many.
I hear this from a lot of people.
Trump isn’t running, guys. Regardless of how you feel about the national parties, Republicans in NH need your vote to prevent an income tax, more section 8 housing, and higher property taxes.
The Democrats are pushing for ALL of these things.

This is by far the best pizza in the Nashville area and there really isn’t a close second, try the thin crust, pick up a deep dish, stop at the bar for an old style or 2 or 3, this place needs and deserves as much support as we can give it

This summer, two congressional aides face the ultimate deadline: keep Mitch McConnell alive until August 3rd. Or at least keep him upright.

"It was Tuesday, July 18, 1967, at 10:25 a.m. Central Standard Time.
I know because it was one of the turning moments of my life.
It was about 105 degrees that day, and as I walked into our locker room, my Cubs teammates were really worn down.
But I was feeling so great.
So lucky.
I was getting paid to do something I loved. So I walked in the locker room and I said:
‘Boy's, it’s a beautiful day....
Let’s play two!’
Everybody kind of raised up and looked at me.
They were saying to themselves:
‘This guy is crazy. . . .’
I wanted to finish my career with one team, one city, one park, one owner.
I did that.
We played all of our home games at Wrigley Field during the daytime.
So my career was very unique, and I am proud of it."

In 1958,Banks became the third shortstop to hit 40 HR's.
In 1959, Banks became the fourth shortstop to hit 40 HR's.
In 1960, Banks became the fifth shortstop to hit 40 HR's.
Twice led the league in intentional walks, RBI and HR`s.
"Banks wasn’t a griper.
Never complained about a strike or an out or a call.
Some guys would turn their heads after a pitch and look at you like you were nuts.
Not Ernie.
It was always:
‘Isn’t this a great day to be alive and playing baseball?’’"
Umpire Doug Harvey on Ernie Banks.
In his 19-year career, Ernie Banks was never ejected from a game.

If you ask 100 people why Africa is poor, almost nobody will say the obvious answer.
They will blame one fashionable explanation after another, anything except the system that makes it miserable to start and run a business.

We pay taxes to build roads.
We pay taxes for the Flock cameras on those roads.
Then the state uses both to track us like criminals for simply driving on the same infrastructure we funded.
Only government could make you pay for your own surveillance and call it “safety.”

Society collectively needs to stop making excuses for awful behaviour.
There are BILLIONS of people around the world who grew up in suboptimal conditions and they don't use it as an excuse to be a criminal or degenerate.

The Trump led Israeli op to oust Massie has radicalized me against the GOP.
Boebert, MTG and Massie are 3 of like 10 decent people in D.C. and they want them all gone.
The signal is clear. It is a political death sentence if you oppose the MIC and support the constitution.
Moreover it is a signal to you, Americans. You are not allowed to have representation. Your rights are secondary to the demands of a foreign country.
If anyone tries to prioritize you the machine kicks into high gear to remind you just how little you matter. How powerless you are.
25 million. No one has ever spent this much money in a congressional primary. His crime? Opposing Israel's wars. Demanding justice for the (Epstein) Israeli intel op. Vocally opposing (AIPAC, RJC) Israel's influence in congress.
This is not just about Massie. It is a message, a warning, to anyone in congress that wants to do the right thing.
Which is exactly why he MUST win.
If he can defeat the machine we still have a chance. If he can't, no one does.
Everyone in congress knows what I'm saying is true. They are all watching this race to find out exactly how impenetrably bought off our system truly is.
Can nationwide grassroots support save the best congressman since Ron Paul. Or are we truly occupied. Can a couple zionist billionaires defeat tens of thousands of small donations from average Americans. Can the under 50 voters stave off the deluge of votes from the mind raped Fox News boomers.
That's what is on the ballot.
We find out in about 24 hours.
