Great idea of the GOP and Dem party rulers to cede all basic human decency to a raving communist who openly despises the majority population of the country, the concept of property ownership, openly fantasizes about taking our guns, etc.
I've been in politics for a quarter century. It's hard to express how staggering it is to see a conversation like this on corporate US media. The Morning Joe panel gobsmacked by the directness of @AbdulElSayed's points.

Socialists say that Capitalists can't define socialism but when socialists are asked to define it, you get 100 different answers.
There is a common theme though: they all believe that the government and democracy magically makes scarcity and incentives go away.

Former Titans' WR Drew Bennett scored 127.7 fantasy points over three games, good for fourth all-time 🚀
He tells the story behind it ⤵️

Yeah it just seems crazy to me that you dont get other offers at least to drive up demand. We coulda got even more if teams were desperate enough. Just seems crazy to me

Objectively both Titans fans and Giants fans are being dumb homers. Borgonzi should’ve explored all options and potentially got 2 1sts from someone else. Harbs calling the owner was also desperate

Negotiating a trade and pulling off that trade with your buddy and only your buddy is a lot more egregious than leaving a voicemail for an owner.
The Titans' GM told the Giants' GM there would be no trade for Jeffery Simmons. John Harbaugh was not amused. My column for @TheAthletic

So, how else do you find out what they’d be willing to trade without talking to them?
No, they clearly wouldn’t have beat the offer. The Giants said as much, but that’s information Borgo did NOT have at the time.
There are 29 other teams too, do the due diligence and talk

Nobody knows whether he could’ve gotten a better offer, because he never picked up the phone for any other team to begin with. That’s horrible process as a GM. How dense do you have to be to not understand that?

How do you know it was the best deal? There are still 29 other teams. Do you know what they would’ve offered? Borgonzi doesn’t because he didn’t pick up the phone. That’s the issue.
He also didn’t know the Giants offer at the time. So you can’t use that to prove a point.

He didn’t know that because he would not take their calls. He got lucky. Congrats to him… this time. Next time he might not. I want our GM talking to any team willing to pick up the phone

Yes. On Sept. 3, 2025, during the Epstein survivors’ Capitol press conference (co-organized by you and Rep. Khanna), four F-35s and four F-16s conducted a low flyover that briefly drowned out speakers. White House ordered it for Polish President Nawrocki’s visit as a tribute to a fallen Polish pilot; Capitol Police alerted in advance. Event continued after the noise passed.

The plan trusters like Will Chamberlain are going to pivot and say we should end the war. Ted Cruz is already. Meanwhile, there is a pivot to Ron DeSantis, who is being rehabilitated as America First.
But don't forget that these people supported the idea of the Iran war. Ron DeSantis also supported the Ukraine war in 2024.
They can say they don't like how Trump’s Iran war was carried out, as John Bolton has been doing, but like Ben Shapiro, their criticisms are that Trump didn’t finish the job earlier.
The panicans were right. Don't forget who is who.

End all qualified immunity for all government employees, especially cops, DAs and judges.
What the hell is this, Russia?

Bret Weinstein announced a plan to turn the Libertarian Party into the American Liberty Party: not a third party, but a second party built on ballot access the Libertarians already have.
BRET: And the idea is to take over the Libertarian Party and to rebrand it the American Liberty Party. So you wanna put up the American Liberty Party site so people can see what we're talking about.
Now you will see that the slogan here, it says the new home for the America First movement. And I wanna point out that America First is a fraught term. What we mean here is America First in the sort of most obvious sense of the term.
American policy should always be in the interests of the American people. There's no excuse for the American government making policy that isn't in the interests of the public.
Now, lots of things can be in the interest of the public. Can foreign aid ever be in the interests of the American public? Of course it can. Of course, yes. Immigration, of course. But we have to have a discussion in which the American people's interests are absolutely overriding and we don't have that. At the moment what we have is governmental policy, which is at best indifferent to the wellbeing of the American public.
So we are very interested in anybody, any patriotic American who is in line with the values expressed in our constitution, founding ethos of the country. If you want the country to function of those values, then this is the party for you.
If you want to use America as a weapon, if you want it to be some kind of ethnostate for certain people, no, that is not what this movement is at all.
This is about, frankly, a division that comes down to us and them. I hate to talk in us and them terms, but the us is everybody who wants a system that is fair, that provides equal protection under the law, that provides access to the market for everyone.
HEATHER: The us could be nearly everyone.
BRET: It should be everyone. It's everybody worth talking to. And the them is anybody who decides that they want something else, that they want special advantages for their people or whatever, or they want to use America as a weapon in some fight that is not our fight.
So we're talking about effectively a second party, we're talking about an American effort, but one that is resolutely in favor of either rescuing the West or reinventing it.
