Thank you for also raising new starters whose start dates have been delayed due to the pandemic. An evidence based system whereby new employers provided signed contracts etc all pre-dating the lockdown announcement is the only way everyone would be covered. ♥️ #newstarterfurlough

I am an employer and 2 employees started in good faith 3 & 10 march not entitled to furlough because we pay our employees like most at the end of the month. this is not fair on the employees. what am i supposed to do - lay them off? disgraceful for taxpayers. #newstarterfurlough
I started a new job March 9th, my new company did not submit a RTI to HMRC until 23rd March, so like thousands of us I am still not eligible for furlough 😡!
