I normally don’t like to add diffraction spikes to my images but thought they might help bring out the shape of the rose

The remote telescope’s location is calling for clouds all night so I reached out to SeeStar to see if we could reschedule and haven’t heard back yet, so I guess we’ll see what happens

The clouds rolled in early tonight, cutting the night short.
Well hot damn! Looks like I’ll be able to get the SeeStar out after work tonight, it’s been cloudy each night since last Thursday

Thinking about a smart scope but dreading complex PC software?
Here’s 3 hours on the Soul Nebula (IC 1848) from a light-polluted Bortle 6 backyard. Zero laptops. Zero FITS files. Captured, stacked, and stretched 100% inside the Seestar app on my phone.
Thank god the elections are today, I’m not sure I could endure another day of political/voting texts. I’ve received 13 so far today and it’s not even noon..
