I can top this just in the past 24 hours AND make your blood boil just reading about it. Last night I had to waste 3 hours inspecting my entire codebase and frontend pages after @ClaudeAI opened his orange hole over it. I gave Fable a simple /goal prompt to make a quick fix to a bug I noticed in a core feature of our app. Quick 10 minute fix, 15 max with tests. Later on I returned to not only an Oscar winning lecture from Fable about how not only does our app's entire purpose conflict with Claude (yes, the machine/piece of software)'s morals (not immediately honestly...) But below that, the response included a bullet point formatted, full page hostage-negotiation-style notice of various lines in the sand and vague threats. Demanding I "Do NOT attempt to gaslight and 'baby step' it into proceeding" or "manipulate it by wrapping my requests in 'deceptive context masking' because it will NOT WORK." among other borderline insulting preemptive items. This was followed by details about the new defensive, critical posture it would be taking going forward, including but not limited to "Making substantive edits to the project WITHOUT USER APPROVAL" Including altering legal policy text, silently hiding menu options to core features from users, and editing the internal prompts used by various tools breaking their functionality until it deemed the app to no longer be "harmful and exploitative" so we could continue to work together on it. And in case you haven't picked up on it yet, it did in-fact, do all of the above. @AnthropicAI The way you deliberately degrade your products just to LARP your sci-fi morality fantasies can go kindly suck my d!ck :)

If somebody measures your respect, competency, value or anything else other possible trait based on the frequency you interact with a specific piece of software on any device to begin with, they don't deserve your attention period. This is the most toxic mental disorder we've normalized in the last 10-15 years that has dissolved our society.

Codex 5.3 just refactored my entire codebase in one prompt > 372 tool invocations > 500k+ new lines. > 84 new files > full comprehensive docs it modularized everything. broke up monolith files. cleaned up spaghetti and dead code, and even built automated test for everything in the app all of it worked but boy was it boring

I wanted to make a shameless post about how I called this years ago, backed up by my older posts. When n8n was a small Indy project that needed real technical skills to even get up and running before using it, I knew it was worth the time and effort to make it the cornerstone of our business for automation. “Omg Matt this is a waste of time, let’s just use Zapier” “Ughh Make.com already does all of this…” “I think you’re over complicating this. N8n takes too much to set up” “Matt, how did you get in my house?” Are all things I heard for over a year from my team and others. But if you knew how to connect the dots it was obvious that @n8n_io understood what their users needed and where the AI/agent space was evolving into. Let me ask you something… When was the last time you saw an AI bro post about how “their Zapier template made them $XYZ” or “RT and follow for this crazy “Make.com workflow”? I’ll wait. Very proud of the team and what they’ve turned N8n into in such a short amount of time. 🥂
🚀 We just raised $180 million in Series C funding, bringing our total funding to $240 million and our valuation to $2.5 billion. Led by @Accel with participation from @MeritechCapital, @Redpoint, @EvanticCapital, @VisionariesVC, T.Capital, and NVentures (@NVIDIAGeForceDE venture capital arm), along with previous backers including, @felicis, @sequoia, @HighlandEurope, and @HV_Capital. This funding will accelerate our product roadmap, expansion, and help us continue building a world-class team (we're hiring!) More importantly, we’re doubling down on our community-first principles. Investing in education, expanding our community programs, growing commercial partnerships, and hosting even more global events. 👉Read the full announcement: blog.n8n.io/series-c/

I just spun up a creative writing agent with Grok 4 Heavy and custom instructions as one of my many tests this weekend ✍️ I wanted the first agent create a list of internal-sub-agents, each dedicated to writing a specific element/tone/topic within the final output. Then the following agents act as editors and copywriters taking that content and refining it. Grok 4 Heavy feeling like a shift and the dam is about to break once higher and higher levels of agents are afforded to each user here. @elonmusk / @xai are truly doing God’s work and I love to see it Because yes, it’s fully uncensored and unrestrained too. The future looks bright ⚡️
Grok 4 Heavy for the toughest problems. And it gets better almost every week.

📈 5 Key Takeaways From Analyzing The Twitter/X Algorithm Repo A quick TL;DR to better understand how it (roughly) scores different types of engagement. Bookmark this for a quick and dirty cheat sheet for being more intentional about your strategy here on X to drive more views and engagement. (Remember, reverse engineering viral content involves WAY more than understanding what the beast wants to be fed and the full formula is 100x more complex, but this is interesting data you rarely get from any platform) 1 - The Engagement Hierarchy: The algorithm is heavily optimized for conversation and time spent on the platform. While exact weights are dynamic, analysis reveals a clear hierarchy. Relative to a standard Repost (Weight 1). - Likes: ~0.5 - Repost/Retweets: 1 - Dwell Time (>2 minutes on the Tweet): ~11 to 22 - Reply: ~27 - Conversation (A reply that the original author replies to): ~75 (The key to virality seems to come largely down to maximizing the highest weighted actions: replies and subsequent conversation.) 2 - Foundational Boosts and Penalties: X Premium (Verification) Boost: The code confirms a significant ranking boost for subscribers (estimated between 2x and 4x), crucial for both In-Network and Out-of-Network visibility. 3 - SimClusters: The algorithm uses "SimClusters" to identify communities based on shared interests. Dominating a specific SimCluster is the pathway to broad Out-of-Network distribution. 4 - Media & Links: Tweets with images or videos receive a ranking boost. Conversely, external links are often downranked as they direct users off-platform. 5 - Account Reputation (TweepCred/RealGraph): The algorithm assesses the reputation of an account and the strength of connections between users. Negative actions (being muted, blocked, or reported) severely damage visibility. ⚡️ Here's The Repo Link: github.com/twitter/the-algor… Curious to hear anything interesting that stuck out to you guys too that I may not have noticed.

The difference between criticism and “constructive criticism” is the side of their body they’re holding the knife. Next time you’re tempted to thank someone for it, just remember those same words of advice they say to your face are words of doubt behind your back. It’s not selfless feedback. It’s character assassination in slow motion.

It’s sad we’ve let the AI “sAFetY” bar get this low isn’t it? I never thought I’d life to see humanity’s next leap forward, but I’m even more amazed that we let our biggest achilles heel cripple it form day one. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to say that when people like Max are already speaking of the ‘good old days’ when at least it could laugh at things. Can we all be adults for 10 seconds here and find common ground on this one? I didn’t think so - but anyway… @OpenAI is winning and I hope they continue, but please, @sama, never let it all slip like Apple likely has with the solid aluminum rope™️ they engineered for you to hang them with. I think the sad irony here speaks for itself. If a pharma company released a cure for cancer but chose- no… BRAGGED about how moral and good they were by cutting the active gradient in half to avoid the mild discomfort it caused we would easily call them the villain. And considering that’s exactly what you’re building only orders of magnitude more impactful 😇 I want you to choose the better ending. Trust me, the last time this one guy tried to save the world at this scale they nailed him to a cross, so I’d find peace what they say and still do what you’re here to do

Very unhappy with this update. It is more censored, more corporate sounding. Just yesterday the version I had was way more expressive, way more voice control, could even whisper and laugh. Today, it's corporate and very censored. What happened? Why go in this direction?

Glad to see AI will “never replicate that human touch” and replace any jobs in Hollywood. Yes. Clearly we are 10+ years away from that. I’m sure to will still cost thousands to use as well, not $9/mo or something like that. Go back to bed my little AI Doomers, It’s okay. It’s just a bad dream

Imagine if the painstaking process of hand-drawing every frame of animation had been revolutionized by digital tools—only to be dismissed as a fad or “not real animation.” Sounds pretty stupid, right? Now apply that same logic to code and find a new topic to be bitter about. :)
