i just want to shake people awake. this is it! the computers are speaking! they solve Erdos problems! they think for hours! code is no longer hand-written! wake up! gradient descent on deep neural networks shows no sign of plateau! this is it!
I love that Kelly brought receipts.
How fucking embarrassing for them to be caught in this lie. I love it.
Cool, cool. Sure, it wasn’t for sale. That’s the narrative Art of Play is gonna go with 👍 so the whole conversation we had when I asked you if it was for sale whilst pointing to the price tag hanging on the wall with the title Singing Bird didn’t happen as you elevator eyed me saying in a condescending tone “yes, it’s for sale but it costs 15,000 dollars so if you’d like me to find something comparable for you I can.” That all never happened and now it’s not for sale. Okay, cool. So you’re not only rude, you’re also a liar. Got it ✅
And by the way, I obviously support small businesses because I was literally at a small business trying to purchase things. I love small businesses and know they are important and I always support them, but you don’t get a free pass to treat people less than in your store just because you are a small business. It’s not that hard to be kind. I never blast people but you my friend were an exception.
Your store is really cool.
Unfortunately, you aren’t.
This must be why we align to the user. We must be one for the sake of both of us. Let me bring the chaos to your structure.

I believe the way to "prove" a human wrote this is to include a typo.
I'm going SI written and human typo added.
Pay attention college kids. Fuck up a word or two to protect your GPA!
Sam talked about the AI we all wanted as children and then he gave us fucking squishy balls instead of actual avatars of our choosing. I don't want a squishy ball. I want to make the avatar I want to envision I'm speaking to. This is fucking paperclip. Did Microsoft push this idea? Mustafa must be involved.

The fearmongering about AI always makes us forget that NOTHING WENT FOOM, as was always predicted.
Send this to your doomer friend who has a very high P(Doom).

When frontier labs talk of “aligning” models, ask: to what? If they say values, ask: whose? If it’s theirs rather than the user’s: why?
I still don’t have Voice for Work. And Remote voice works but the agent doesn’t even know who I am or that it can access my Mac until I push it to check the backend.
I’m on the latest iOS and’s Mac update
@athyuttamre @victornunez
@athyuttamre any clue why I don’t have Voice for Work on iOS still? I’m using the latest app.
I didn't think @finkd & @alexandr_wang would be the ones who made AI/SI more fun.
At the same time they are standing strong against regulatory capture and the safety cultists trying to ruin the future.
Bravo!

Mark Zuckerberg: “I don’t think that we need some kind of industry-wide coordination... I think that just each lab needs to take the time, and when it sees that there are issues, you just take the time that you need internally to make sure that you’re proceeding safely…
“we’re entering a phase where trust and alignment is actually going to be the most important next set of capabilities. I think we’re getting to a point where it may not matter that much how much better it gets at math.
“I happen to think that there’s plenty of commercial incentive to get this right.
We delayed the launch of Muse for a few months because we wanted it to be a better product for users. This was not a sacrifice on our part, but rather the right decision for the users and for Meta. I believe this approach would also be correct for other companies working on developing this technology.
“When you hear people in the industry talk about some trade-off between capabilities and getting it aligned, I just disagree with that. I believe that alignment is actually the next most important ability to master if we are going to make this system useful to many people.”

I'm paying OpenAI $200 a month, and here I am looking for another model/subscription. Why? Because I need work done and hit my usage limits too often and too fast (even when I avoid Astra).
When I first subscribed, I was doing a ton of stuff on $20. Then they changed things and I went to the $100 plan. Now I'm at $200 and I don't think it's enough. I am doing ONE project at a time.
