Anyone picking up ABSOLUTE WONDER WOMAN #25 tomorrow, please consider checking out BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN LIVES #1 as well -- it's from me and @MattiaIulis (your AWW Annual team!) and we love it so much. I feel like anyone enjoying AWW will enjoy Bride as well:

I believe this will be considered one of the most important videos in US history from this time.
Every village needs a pastor to soothe souls and get villagers fired up. I based his appearance on the actor Vincent Romeo from BLOODY TENNIS, which is a weird body horror sports movie that is better than its name, but... not a lot better.

AOC: "As AI begins to encroach in our society, their goal is to take your cognition away from you. AI's goal is to take your thoughts away from you, your ability to think away from you, so that you become dependent on a machine ... reading books is active resistance"
I'll probably slip a cryptid into these themes whenever I can, and the Loveland Frogman seems to fit the folk horror vibe quite nicely. I wanted to capture the look of something misbegotten.

Released the border elements I designed for this month's theme today. I based these on Victorian dandelion illustrations, and I think they're pretty cool. patreon.com/deeplydapper/posβ¦
I was so excited when I saw Bryan Fuller in the prom scene in Carrie. Which, I admit, is a strange thing to be excited about.

I swear SOMETHING broke in society after 2020 and nobody wants to talk about it.
And Iβm not talking about masks, lockdowns, or COVID. I mean the FEELING of life.
Everything reopened. We went back to work. Restaurants filled up. Events came back. But somehow life still feels⦠different.
Years disappear faster. People feel more disconnected. Everything feels more expensive, stressful & rushed.
And somehow weβre all constantly exhausted. I canβt even explain exactly what we lost. I just know life before 2020 felt more ALIVE.
Tell me Iβm not the only one who feels this.

Final days on my weird game about throwing skeletons at each other! It hasn't gotten a lot of overall attention, but I think it's super fun, and it'll be cool to have a game that goes with the Skelly Boys.

I think it's interesting that we're in a pop culture cycle where people's references for adaptations are previous adaptations, with fewer people having read the source material.
There are fewer than 900 of them left in the world. There are 8,300,000,000 humans. Seems like an easy equation by almost any metric that isn't emotional or religious. (And that's assuming they had a marksman handy who could have done the job in the first place.)
Hey Folks and Horrors! This should've been posted yesterday, but by the time I finished it, the hour was late, and I was feeling down, so I went to bed instead. But here's a kettle!
