Democrats taking Congress isn't the $ASTS bear case some think.

Today I have come to a simple and somewhat calming place in my $ASTS journey.
After living through years of pain, seeing my investment go -80% to $1.97, seeing the company almost go under, where are we?
We are in a much, much better place. The SpaceX dynamic is overblown, I fully believe this. Our global position only grows stronger. The launch situation will be resolved, and long before SpaceX has any hope of taking the majority of the market, either in the USA or abroad. I have no doubts: the government money is coming. J-LEO funding is coming. SatCo and further EU support is coming.
I have the patience to let this play out like it did in 2024.
I do not have the patience for the FUD and shittalking about management here on X. Such comments will now earn a block from me.
Abel and Scott haven't sold. They know what they own. So do I.

I love that scene in Good Will Hunting where Ben Affleck is talking to Matt Damon's titular character Will Hunting and he's like “you've got a gift man and you've gotta get outta this town and make something of yourself” and the gift in question is being really good at math and the town he needs to get out of is Boston, Massachusetts.
I read the Boost news as confirmation that SpaceX has a lot harder road ahead than Elon would like.

NOTE: I'm a fan of Star Trek, not a "hater." But I'm a tempered fan.
The show is a philosophical mess. Oh yes, its values are progressive, which is why it's incoherent--that's what progressive values are.
1. It pretends there's no such thing as money or currency. Never explains it. Pretends human nature changed and people just "do the right thing" with no commensurate reward.
2. Runs a military organization with a hierarchy, but pretends that it hates battleships and war. Pretends these things can be managed away if everyone would just Federation harder.
3. They wouldn't give up the Federation hierarchy any more than Marxists will give up their penthouse so that the poor they claim to care about are equal.
4. Puts 1,000 people and families on a warship, puts that ship in danger, then the crew insist on prioritizing the safety of nanites that are destroying the ship over the preservation of their own people and families.
5. Consistently places the sensible, cautious, and sometimes militaristic points of view concerned with survival in the mouths of what we would call "Maga-coded" caricatures today.
Even when the "Maga" character is right, and the Captain has to do what he suggests to save the ship, the smug crew and writers still mock him and act superior.
It's a great show. It's also a ridiculous, infantile, leftist liberal cream-jeans fantasy.
Gene Roddenberry and the main production crew for decades are liberal man children.
