There are two viewpoints or both to this. 1) They can’t decide between them who to replace Carrick with. 2) It’s self preservation from Berrada & Wilcox.
Michael Carrick stays in charge of Manchester United after talks yesterday including Ratcliffe, Glazers, Berrada, Wilcox. Surprising call after Bournemouth but there is clarity now, in short-term at least. Fascinating few days ahead ⬇️ #MUFC nytimes.com/athletic/7726768…

What a documentary and what a hero. Felt immense pride seeing him run through our hometown again.

Is some news from United set to come out?
The 2026 Ballon d'Or ceremony has been delayed by half an hour, meaning it will now start at 8.30pm UK time. No reason has been given for the delay, and you can continue to follow our blog live: nyti.ms/4dTOSRe

It’s funny that Tim Sherwood defended his mate Wilcox last week and now he’s saying we’re rotten to the core. Your mate is clearly part of the problem.

Enough is enough. They’ve caused enough damage. No more talk about stupid new stadiums. No more desecration and ruination of everything you all inherited. No more talk of bigger stakes and investments. Time to go.

"Sell United and f*k off home" sing MUFC fans, the only good thing about the club right now. And it's right. The Glazers have made their money many times over for 21 years. Fans never wanted it and that takeover should never have been allowed. Do the right thing: sell up and go.

What a shambles. Glad Wilcox And the new stadium got targeted with chants. We’ll be the exact same situation in 12 months whilst these leeches are in.

Both hired based on their performance in an environment where they had an artificial advantage of financial doping juicing up their credentials. Drop them in a real club with real issues and they've been found out.

He had to make a statement, but the starting line-up is a mess.

Wilcox should be sacked before Carrick. How many chances will that cunt be given?

Looks like another manager for the scrap heap

If Ineos sack Carrick, they won’t be hiring a manager already in a job. Instead they’ll target free agents, which says it all.

I’m not even surprised any more. Until we get owners that are interested in winning football matches over lining their stinking filthy pockets this is the end product. Rotten from top to bottom.

This is absolutely shite. We’ve been dismantled. I feel for Carrick, as he wasn’t properly supported in the summer but our fitness levels are appalling. Do you honestly trust Wilcox & Co to pick another manager and fix this? They’ve failed numerous times.

A really poor half, facing similar issues to most games this season. A clear lack of urgency, and we were outrun. Como are well drilled, yet we have no visible structure or plan.

But we didn’t need another striker, apparently.
🚨 BREAKING: Manchester United are concerned that Benjamin Šeško faces a spell of up to FOUR MONTHS out of action. Sources close to Šeško remain hopeful his lay-off will not extend to February but are braced for a prolonged period off the pitch. #MUFC [@samuelluckhurst]
