If you are building a startup, try to be profitable when you are small. We turned ebidta positive on a ~$2.25 Mn ARR. Focus on product led growth. Built clear edge with product. ~50% user acquisition was organic, it still is. Had a small team. Small office. 100% work from office, it helps. Extremely low marketing spends. Focus on unit economics, from day 1. When you scale a startup and become large with zero profits, it becomes extremely difficult to turn things around. Not impossible, but is super challenging. Scale now, profitable later works very rarely.

Too many founders rush to incorporate companies & LLPs only on the strength of an idea without clear fundamentals of a business. Many end up spending the months & years filing NIL returns, maintaining compliance, and paying professional fees but very little business progress. Incorporating a company is the final step in your journey of building a business. Don’t make it the first step. #cfotips

Tired of all the Malkist ads on Sony Liv. Must have watched them 100+ times in the last few days. Sony Liv’s actual business model:
10% content
90% aggressive biscuit propaganda.

Regulate reels. If not at least ban their monetization. A lot of issues for India created from outside will end. An average Indian uses 28 GB data at one of the world's lowest rates. Of that nearly 20 GB is used for useless dance and drama reels. Freeing that will free a lot of capital for Indian ISPs to provide internet to very remote areas. And also better internet to serious customers and content makers using it for educational content, work, video conferencing and such. Squeezing Indian companies to provide cheap data that's only used by India's adversaries without a challenge to program Indians using fake news and perversion is suicide.

For me, the best form of worship is to just close eyes wherever I am, and connect to universal consciousness (चैतन्य )
A decade ago kainchi dham and other tirths were meant to seek peace. People came here to escape the miseries of life, meditate, seek blessings. Now, no words. The very thing people come here to escape from is exactly what they’ve brought along.

66 million years ago, molten lava flowed across the Deccan. 🌋 Today, a rock from Mulshi, Pune sits in my hand — looking ordinary in daylight, but glowing golden under a torch. 🔦✨ Earth secrets are amazing

Meta VR Glassed. 5x lighter than Quest 3. I still get excited when such breakthrough happens in XR.
🚨 META JUST UNVEILED THE VR GLASSES 100 grams on your face - about the weight of a deck of cards. Meta says it has “the best display system that we have ever made,” and people in the demo were literally saying “it is like a computer” and “you could edit a whole movie just using the table.” As Mark explained this is cinema, computer, and a game console all in one, with 3D space, virtual screens, hand occlusion, and DisplayPort over USB-C. James Cameron’s reaction is probably the best quote in the whole segment “I’m inspired by what you’ve created. I’d like to see my work in these glasses.” I am completely one shotted these look amazing!

Pic 1: An artist in black T-shirt immersed in his art and painting the statue of Gopal Krishna Gokhale, on a busy Tuesday afternoon. Pic 2: Tried to capture the painting. The photo doesn’t give justice but this is an amazing stuff. (Zoom in) Venue : Cross Maidan Garden, Churchgate.
