I started medical school in the clinic of the fantastic @LKelley_Quon - I could not have gotten to thus milestone without her and am so thankful to have her in my corner as I start this new chapter 🥹

Beyond excited to continue my training at Emory with @EmorySurgery! 10 years ago I started nursing school here, then began my nursing career in the Grady SICU, came back for medical school, and now I’m doing my surgical training where it all began… a dream come true! #Match2025

God answers prayers. I will be the first doctor in my family. I’m beyond excited to make my dreams a reality and train as an orthopaedic surgeon. Mom and Dad… we did it! 🇭🇹 #Match2025

I feel incredibly blessed to say I matched at my first choice, UCLA for #Neurology! The journey hasn’t been linear but God’s been so so good. #MatchDay2025 @UCLANeurology @NMatch2025

I hope my new colleagues (so cool to say that) don’t let anyone rob them of the achievement of matching into their chosen specialties!! Statements like this will try to prove otherwise, but we all worked so hard to do this (and will continue to as trainees)

In the #GreysAnatomy pilot, Dr Richard Webber tells Meredith Grey “Welcome to the game.” I prefer #WelcometotheFamily Dr Obinelo

How are we supposed to make med school loan payments on a resident salary without IDR? 😅

As Trump guts the Department of Education, remember that his plan to cut the corporate tax rate to 15% would give the 100 largest corporations a tax cut larger than the entire department's K-12 budget. Really think about how twisted this all is.

I know they say it’s for national security, but I think the real reason is that a bunch of rich people got big mad they don’t own (and profit from) the most popular social media platform in the US

This was me when I went from a habitual new england winter + iced coffee purist to actually drinking hot coffee. Changed my life 💀

I did not realize drinking a hot beverage when you’re cold actually makes you warmer physically I thought people just liked hot drinks bc of the vibe

The people in my autism parenting groups who are just figuring out what gutting the Department of Education is going to do to their kids, after they voted for Trump. Whew, chile. It’s a whole lotta, “They can’t do that, right?” Nah, bro. They can and they’re gonna.

A few years back in Yosemite there was a problem with bears getting into trash cans and ppl said ‘why not make the cans more complex?’ And a ranger said ‘bc there is significant overlap between the smartest bear and dumbest human’ and this election feels like that quote to me

Fundamentally, I went into healthcare to help people. However, the same people I’ve took out loans for, spent decades in school for, consistently advocate for, wouldn’t even think twice about helping me. And that’s really depressing.
