“Mr. President, I want you to hear from Florida that we are still red.”
Byron Donalds delivers a message to President Trump as he celebrates a historic victory in Florida’s governor’s race, becoming the state’s first Black governor.
Donalds reveals Trump was the second person to call him after his victory, thanking the president for his support and for standing in his corner throughout the race.
He also praises outgoing Gov. Ron DeSantis’ leadership over the past eight years and vows to build on his legacy to keep Florida “the very best state in America.”

In all of this, let’s not forget the Democrats who ran before. Especially Stacey Abrams in Georgia and Beto O’Rourke in Texas. They laid the groundwork, and when they lost, they stayed and helped build the infrastructure for the next person. You have to invest in these states, even when you lose. And thank God for that investment.

I actually genuinely believe this, once in a generation politician and he can’t even run for prez.
The entire Democratic Party owes a massive debt of gratitude to Zohran Mamdani.
Before his rapid rise, the party was largely rudderless, suffering from a loss of direction, momentum, and self-confidence. By drifting away from the working class, the party naturally saw voters walk away in response.
Mamdani single-handedly corrected the course, bringing vital energy, ideological clarity, and an authentic connection back to the very people who had been left behind.
Without his influence, the party’s current standing would look very different.

TRIFECTA DELIVERED.
Pennsylvanians just came together to flip the State Senate for the first time in over THREE DECADES — delivering a Democratic trifecta that’s ready to raise the minimum wage, codify reproductive freedom, invest in mass transit, and so much more.
I’m so proud to have supported Chris Thomas, Eileen Hartnett Albillar, Mark Pinsley, and Brian Wrightson from Day One in their campaigns.
Now, the real work begins — and we’re ready to get shit done.

Not to bring down the mood but we still have a shit storm coming when the worst of the Big Beautiful Bill kicks in next year. Please don’t play stupid and blame the Democrats when it happens.
