A pleasure to play you guys as always 😎
See you against later in the summer - hope it will have warmed up by then! 🥶
TFC went down to a 9 wicket defeat against @DiagonalTigers . Only Matt (10) and Riley (21) made double figures as TFC could only muster 67. In reply the Tigers knocked off the runs with 6.3 overs to spare. Many thanks to our sponsors
You'll be much missed by sports fans 📻
Just done my last report for @5liveSport ending 51 yrs at the Beeb & 44 in the Sports Dept. My decision. Will remain on this platform, fulminating & eulogising in equal measure. Thanks for listening & ( usually) the supportive feedback.
Shoaib Bashir has come in for some stick in this series but he's outbowled India's spinners. He's taken more wickets (10) than Sundar and Jadeja combined (8) at a better strike rate. That's despite not having had the chance to have an extended bowl on a 5th day pitch
Beer and gin festival in memory of Simon Heginbotham, who played a couple of times for Diagonal Tigers in 2015

Thanks to everyone at @ThanksCricket for an excellent game as usual - plus Emms for her fantastic scoring
Always a pleasure playing against TFC
TFC fell to a 21 run defeat on Tuesday. Despite a promising start with the ball, @DiagonalTigers finished well and ended up on a challenging 152-6 off 20. Despite Kris Milner’s 26 and some late inns hitting from both Matt Lambert and Dan Gibson, the boys (and Nikki) fell short.
Tigers are back in action on Tuesday against @ThanksCricket at Woodhouse, 6pm start

A high scoring thriller at Woodhouse last night saw us come close to snatching defeat from the jaws of victory
After we scored 171-4, with Jordan, Paul and John all retiring, Arup's number 9 smashed a scarcely believable 39 not out before they finished on 166-9 😬

Any excuse to post this 😅
Happy birthday. @BenStokes38 🙌
You have to say @englandcricket look pretty smooth in their new training tops
Or should that be crunchy?
Not bad for a Lanc-y
Sir James Anderson took 3-17 off his four overs playing his first T20 in 11 years.
Ageless 🤯 👑

Incredibly, this is what the outfield at Woodhouse looked like a year ago - a duck pond
Compare that to the parched grounds we have at the moment!
Thanks to @ThanksCricket for the concern shown for @christflynn - and practical help - after he tried to field the ball with his face
He's sore today and just getting checked at A&E this afternoon to be on the safe side
One game down - one win! Congrats to the team who had a 7 wicket win over @DiagonalTigers on Tuesday night, great game played in a great spirit as always against lovely opposition. Good luck for the rest of your season to Simon and the boys
