Reform UK Leicestershire is in chaos
Leader Dan Harrison was shown to have told a Reform UK group meeting of plans to make 76 solicitors redundant. He originally said it was a lie and threatened the person that exposed it with legal action by the council.
This comes days after he narrowly avoided an internal party vote of no-confidence. The key criticism is lack of direction.
Reform UK is a minority control council in Leicestershire.
In addition to this, Councillor Joseph Boam was handed multiple sanctions after two code of conduct hearings yesterday, he failed to attend both. He will be stripped of all cabinet roles.
Boam you will remember is the “I stand with ICE” councillor. He also was demoted from Deputy just months after being elected due to his lack of ability.
Leicestershire has seen 2 councillors resign and one defect to Restore since May 2025.
Reform UK in Leicestershire have failed to win multiple council by-elections, including a defence of their own seat a week back.
It’s time for Harrison to consider his position. The general consensus is that his days as leader are numbered.

Well, after spending these last few weeks being nasty to @KemiBadenoch, calling her ‘Kensington Kemi’, siding with the racist that called her ‘Nigerian Scammer’ and then going to Newark and asking them to vote Reform, saying was a party for change. It looks like the people in Newark have just shown Bobby J the door 🚪.
Bobby J was elected as a Tory MP, then defected to Reform, saying that Newark had elected him on his independent campaign and not on a Tory ticket. Perhaps it’s time for him to call for a by-election.
