A controversial move to take the crown of TGFITW from Celtic. Self congratulation is the real winner here
Goes without saying but the fans were exceptional again during the game. Never stopped signing and pushing the players on. Until 2 mins before the end it felt like it was only Aberdeen fans as Utd were pretty quiet. Best fans in the world 🔴⚪️💪

There we go! United have improved from poor to very average 😂😂
Missed the game today, but from reading the comments it was the third game in a row Milne has led to a goal, wrong captain, wrong subs and no defence? Frustrating as they’re another example of a very average SPFL team that are there for the taking.

The freshly issued WRF 12z indicates that the centre of #StormBoelo could be shifting onto a slightly more southerly track than previous outputs. #Hebrides (we could break some low pressure records due to this) If these last-minute adjustments hold, we could see a longer delay before the strongest winds reach the Outer Hebrides (and maybe the northern islands of the Inner Hebrides). Little to nothing has changed in the overall intensity of the expected gusts, so we're still looking at widespread 60-70 mph gusts, with peaks of 80+ mph over exposed locations, particularly on the NW coasts. It'll be a windy night. Stay safe.

#OnThisDay 1992: Chris Evans and Gaby Roslin were fronting one of the most talked-about new shows on television. Sarah Greene visited the presenters of The Big Breakfast, Channel 4’s bold new morning programme, which was produced from three lock-keeper’s cottages.

UK crime was four times higher when Oasis first played Knebworth than at last year’s reunion gigs. The collapse of crime and safer streets is one of the biggest stories of our time. But one almost never told - or believed. My take on today’s figures: comment.press/lawless

United fans are failing to understand the role Metsoko plays in the team. He's there to give the fans something to moan about. A focal point. If we had a prolific scorer, the fans would be raging at having nothing to complain about.

Hey @grok is it true or false that Trump allies are holding discussions about declaring martial law to seize ballots in the midterms? Answer True or false only. Then provide details of what this would mean for our democracy.

Former Head of MI6 Sir John Sawers, "Russia was very keen that the Leave campaign should succeed and that Britain should leave the European Union" "Because that would marginalise Britain as a global player and weaken Europe in general" "That's the strategic opportunity the Russians spotted, and the leaders of the Leave campaign fell into it" My view: Former MI6 chief Sir John Sawers says Russia saw Brexit as a way to weaken Britain and divide Europe, and that the Leave campaign’s leaders walked straight into the opportunity. So let’s remember who sold it: VOTE LEAVE • Boris Johnson — political figurehead • Michael Gove and Gisela Stuart — campaign committee co-convenors • Matthew Elliott — chief executive • Dominic Cummings — campaign director • Daniel Hannan — leading Brexit advocate • Priti Patel, Iain Duncan Smith, Chris Grayling, John Whittingdale and Theresa Villiers — senior Conservative campaigners • David Davis, Liam Fox, Dominic Raab, Steve Baker and Douglas Carswell — prominent Leave campaigners LEAVE. EU • Nigel Farage — leading political figure • Arron Banks — co-chairman and major funder • Andy Wigmore — communications director GRASSROOTS OUT / LABOUR LEAVE • Peter Bone and Tom Pursglove — Grassroots Out co-founders • Kate Hoey — Grassroots Out co-founder and Labour Leave campaigner • Graham Stringer, Kelvin Hopkins and Roger Godsiff — Labour Leave campaigners • Sammy Wilson — prominent DUP Leave campaigner They promised Brexit would make Britain stronger. Sawers says Russia saw the opposite opportunity: a Britain marginalised and a Europe weakened.

BREAKING 🚨 | Households have spent an extra £14k on bills since 2021. Working people have been paying for the costs of foreign wars for too long. The government must take immediate action to reduce the cost of living - the answer is taxing the super-rich.

This is extraordinary. I don't think I have heard a more articulate & accurate deconstruction & demolition of Nigel Farage's Reform UK policy than this, in under 85 seconds! Trumps MAGA, AfD supporters in East Germany and "Ireland is full" gobshites need to hear this too.👇

More disgraceful revelations about Reform UK. An ITV undercover investigation has exposed Reform councillors using vile racist language, including one calling for King Charles to be decapitated because he is supposedly Muslim, and another demanding Asian people be dragged from their homes and deported. Farage’s party insists these are just a handful of individuals who slipped through its vetting process. How many more times can Reform use that excuse? The full expose is coming on Sunday!
