Mr Burns would say “excellent”
*cough* I mean George Soros would say “excellent”.
Bank of England saying “we will be the banker to the stablecoin.”
Sounds clean on paper: stronger backing, actual central bank reserves, less chance of the thing breaking the buck.
Trade-off is tighter control, no yield for holders, issuance caps, full regulatory leash.
Right now it’s aimed at the big systemic/institutional ones. Smaller retail & crypto-trading stables stay under lighter FCA rules.
But who says they don’t expand the same control framework to everything once it gets big enough? Classic “start with the big boys, then come for the rest” playbook.
Is this what I think it is ? 👀
Private credit exposed a blind spot in DeFi liquidity design.
Traditional AMMs are designed around continuous two-sided markets.
Private-credit positions are sparse, asynchronous and usually held until maturity.
When a holder does need to exit, they may only need one trade in one direction.
@CarbonDeFixyz supports that with native one-directional Limit and Range Orders. The holder sets the price, makes the position available and waits for a buyer.
Not constant, forced liquidity. Intentional liquidity.
And why would Singapore would have any jurisdiction?
The Singapore Court of Appeal has affirmed the Singapore High Court’s decision that confidentiality has been lost in relation to the emergency arbitration proceedings. The Court of Appeal upheld the High Court’s finding that having regard in large part to Fetch’s conduct, Fetch could not have reasonably believed that confidentiality continued to subsist.
Following this decision, the interim orders preserving confidentiality pending the appeal have been discharged.
Therefore, we republish the emergency arbitrator’s award here:

Pessimism and doomerism produce nothing.
Doomerism/pessimists never cured a disease, built a reactor or lifted anyone out of poverty.
Optimists did.
Optimists imagined a better world, and then built it.
Most hedge funds underperform the simple S&P500, even if ranked by total AUM. We also never got the banana-zone. And I’m pretty sure we’ll have a mini crisis after we sweep the highs next months.
You think rates are going to blow up the economy, anon?
You under estimate the difference it is having a macro hedge fund manager running the Treasury. He knows the game, the stakes and he knows the dials.
No one is going to sacrifice the midterms if they can absolutely avoid it... and they will do EVERYTHING possible to win them.
Relax. It'll all be fine. Better than fine fine in fact. The liquidity spice is flowing, everything else will be dealt with.
