No margin calls. When digibyte:native drops, #DigiDollar doesn't sell your collateral out from under you. There are no forced liquidations. Your #Digibyte sits in a time-locked vault at 200% to 1000% collateral, depending on lock length, until the lock expires and you burn the DigiDollars to get it back.

The fee attached to a $DGB transaction is part of the miner's reward for the block that includes it. ⛏️ It isn't a subscription paid to the wallet application every time you open it.

Words of the day: full node. A computer that keeps its own copy of the #DigiByte chain and checks every block against the rules itself, no trust required. Lots of quiet boxes doing that is what decentralization actually looks like. Running one? What's it on? digibyte:native

Sending $DGB between two wallets you control still makes an on-chain transaction. ❗️ The network doesn't know that both ends belong to you. It processes the transaction according to the same rules as another payment, including the network fee. For your own records, mark it as a transfer between your wallets. Otherwise, looking back at one wallet on its own can make an internal move look like money paid to somebody else. 💡

Quick wallet check, #DigiByte folks. When did your digibyte:native wallet app last update? An abandoned wallet still opens fine. It just quietly stops getting safer. Thirty seconds in the app store now beats a bad surprise later. Running a full node? Get DigiByte Core v9.26.7 from the official DigiByte-Core GitHub before Thaw Day.

DigiDollar is the first native USD stablecoin on a UTXO blockchain. No issuer. No bank. No smart-contract layer. Just locked DGB collateral and DigiByte’s 12+ years of proof-of-work security. #DigiDollar digibyte:native

🎓 Someone says they've sent your $DGB. Here's how to check the transaction yourself. Ask for the transaction ID, often called a TXID, and paste it into the search box on DigiExplorer.

No bank account. No freeze list. No issuer that can blacklist your address. DigiDollar runs purely on $DGB consensus. #Decentralized #DigiDollar

💡 When DigiByte Core is syncing, it's working through blockchain information so it can check the chain for itself. A wallet opened after a long break may need to catch up before its view is current. The program being open doesn't mean that work has finished ❗️ Look at its sync status before using an old balance display to judge a recent $DGB payment. A current view gives the rest of the conversation a much better starting point.

🎓️ A test network gives developers a place to work through transactions without using mainnet funds. That separation matters when following a $DGB or #DigiDollar tutorial. A successful testnet demonstration explains a process; it isn't evidence that the same transaction happened on mainnet. 💡 Keep the network visible in screenshots. Readers should be able to tell whether they're watching a practice example or an actual mainnet payment.

About two weeks to Thaw Day on DigiByte, block 24,490,000, around Nov 1. #DigiDollar is already live. Thaw is the next milestone. If you run a node, today's a good day to make sure it's on a current #DigiByte Core build. digibyte:native

🔒 HOW CAN YOU UNLOCK USD LIQUIDITY FROM YOUR DIGIBYTE (DGB) WITHOUT SELLING IT? Imagine you hold 100,000 DGB. You believe its price will rise, but you need instant USD liquidity. Instead of selling your digibyte:native, you can lock it as on-chain collateral and mint DD (a decentralized stablecoin) against it, subject to the protocol's rules and your chosen lock period. Here's the idea: 📈 If DGB rises: the market value of your locked DGB rises, too, while you retain exposure to its price. 📉 If DGB drops: there are no margin calls or forced liquidations. Your DGB remains locked until the chosen term expires. 🛡 When the lock expires: you can redeem your collateral by burning the required DD, subject to the protocol's rules and redemption conditions. And here's the interesting part: the more DGB gets locked, the less is available on the market. In theory, reduced supply could put upward pressure on DGB's price, especially if demand stays strong or increases. So, what exactly is DigiDollar (DD)? A fully decentralized stablecoin built natively on the DigiByte blockchain. It is backed by overcollateralized DGB, helping maintain a stable USD value without relying on a centralized issuer. Users retain control of their own keys and collateral while minting and using DD. No centralized issuer. No issuer-controlled freezes. So why doesn't DD always trade at $1? Because its market price depends on supply and demand. Changes in buying and selling pressure can push $DD above or below $1. But here's the key difference: the amount of DGB you lock stays the same. Lock 100,000 DGB, and those 100,000 DGB remain locked for your chosen period, regardless of price changes. Once the lock period ends, you can unlock your DGB by returning the same amount of DD under the protocol's rules. Today, October 17, is another DigiByte Community Lock Day. You can lock your DGB using the DigiByte Core wallet to mint DD. Or you can get DD directly from AnonKyc without providing ID or personal information.
🎉 DD/USDT is now LIVE on AnonKyc! Dear Anons, Today, September 17, marks Global Time Lock Day, as members of the DigiByte community time-lock digibyte:native to mint $DD and create decentralized stable value on-chain. 🔷 We're happy to announce that DigiDollar (DD) / USDT trading is now live on AnonKyc. A wallet can show a $DGB amount beside an estimated value in another currency. Those numbers answer different questions: The DGB amount tells you how many coins you're looking at. The currency estimate depends on the price used by that display. 💡 If the estimate changes while the DGB amount stays the same, that doesn't mean coins moved out of your wallet. Start with the asset amount and transaction history when you're checking a payment.
