Times are shifting in the games industry and the signs are there. I had a conversation last night with one of my cofounders about the shift in the games industry and the role AI is playing. The barrier to entry is the lowest it has ever been and the cost of development has been heavily subsidized by new AI workflows. The one thing that stays up there is creativity. As game developers, the biggest value you bring to the table is your creativity. An idea so good and so well executed that replicating it becomes incredibly difficult.
