This is why I don’t agree when people say Sonic X is “biblically accurate”, because she would NOT say that 💀

He’s characterized well. The problem is he isn’t utilized well. A good chunk of the episodes he’s AWOL and only shows up in the climax, so we get to see his characterization utilized all that well, this also means som of his relationships are underdeveloped, especially Chris
I strongly disagree, if anything Movie Tails is the most accurate character out of the bunch, I lowkey prefer him to current Tails because he actually helps Sonic in battle like he use to, he’s smart, but has moments where he actually acts like a kid, he just needs more to do
Eh, I disagree, the delivery was perfectly fitting for the situation

but jasons voice acting improved alot, we have many times where even in pain, jasons sonic still shines. Rogers voice seems to be struggling with trying to make sonic sound serious, roger was a good choice for the character in colours but now that franchise is more serious...
He doesn’t self despair MUCH, but he has is moments when he does. If in extenuating circumstances, then I see no issue

sonic can be concerned, its about what he says and how he acts. He doesnt self despair much, even in sonic x he went straight to action. Elise is a exception because thats character death, regarding line delivery i agree with you but thankfully he only had to say elise.
Apparently it’s only defined when it’s useful for “cHaReCtErIzAtIoN” arguments
That’s your beautiful message?
“We can just defeat evil if we believe in magic and look to the stars”, “pursue your wishes” that’s about generic as it’s gets, it doesn’t do anything compelling with the message, the actual STORY is bland and forgettable, as are its characters

Replying here, because I otherwise can't. It's actually it's actually a beautiful message of how we can defeat evil by looking for the magic that binds us together (literal chemistry of the stars), and we should be free to pursue our own dreams and wishes.
Not reallly. Most people have completely understandable and genuine reasons for not liking Wish. I wasn’t expecting an Endgame Crossover, but I (and many others) hoped for a story with more substance, characters with more depth and better music. The concepts alone are WAY better

Also the "hate" for Wish is so artificial and manufactured. Coming almost exclusively from people who either didn't see it, or just wanted it to be a different movie from what it was (Endgame-style huge crossover vs quaint self-contained story with winks and nods).

...cough cough...
Anyway, I don't care if you headcanon a set of characters (including these) as siblings but I do start caring when you a) insist canon 100% agrees with you when actually it's only stated their friends, and b) harass artists and fane using your headcanon
I’ll say this much, it makes Amy very inconsistent, considering in games like Rush and shows like X, she gets easily irritated by the mere idea of Sonic with someone else, but in 06, she’s almost uncharacteristically chill with Elise kissing her man
I have no idea why certain people even compare the Sonic movies to DBE, it isn’t even close to being as bad or even as inaccurate as that movie it
DBE fundamentally fails as both an adaptation AND a good film in its own right
The first Sonic film is mediocre at worst
“Although I like the 1st movie, I think that in terms of faithfulness to the source material, it's borderline as bad as DB Evolution (if Sonic's old design went through, it'd be on par).”
#SonicMovie
You are aware an adaptation doesn’t need to be 100% accurate to be good or enjoyable right
If you want a more accurate Sonic film, that’s understandable, but the films (at least 2 and 3) keep enough elements from the games while still telling an solid story, and that’s fine
They made a BEAUTIFUL orchestral cover of “Event: The Last Scene” called “Sayonara, Shadow the Hedgehog”
