If nothing else, tomorrow may prove that strange women lying in ponds distributing swords isn't as bad a basis for gov't as first thought.

I wake up with a song in my head almost every day. Usually a song I haven't heard in years. Today was this one.

In the name of Christian unity on Reformation Day, I think we should all agree that Martin Luther was right about the perpetual virginity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist.
Can concur.
I'm not 67 YET but getting closer, but ALL of this is true!
I need to make a very PUBLIC announcement on behalf of those of us who are 60-something.
If you see a 67-year-old who seems a little boring now, understand something…
WE ALREADY GOT IT IN.
Like…GOT. IT. IN. 😂
We’re not sitting home on Friday night because we never knew how to have fun.
We’re sitting home because WE’VE HAD ENOUGH FUN FOR THREE LIFETIMES.
We went to parties in farmhouses, machine sheds, gravel pits and cornfields. Nobody sent a location because THERE WERE NO CELL PHONES.
Somebody just said, “There’s a party out at Johnson’s.”
Which Johnson?
Nobody knew.
But somehow 75 people found it.
We cruised Main Street for hours with absolutely nowhere to go. Gas was cheap, the music was loud, and somehow 11 people fit into a car made for five.
We drank Boone’s Farm, cheap beer and mysterious concoctions somebody handed us in a plastic cup.
Nobody asked what was in it.
You drank it and trusted the process.
We closed down the bar and instead of doing the responsible thing and GOING HOME…
somebody would yell:
“RED ROOSTER!”
Or…
“LET’S GO TO THE BOONDOCKS!”
And suddenly at 2:30 in the morning, the whole crew was sitting around a table eating eggs, hash browns and greasy breakfast food like we’d just finished a hard day’s work.
Then somebody would say:
“Well…might as well stay up now.”
😂😂
There was no Uber.
No GPS.
No Life360.
No Find My Friends.
There was just somebody saying:
“Follow me. I know a shortcut.”
And for reasons nobody can explain…
WE FOLLOWED HIM.
We made entire weekend plans without sending ONE text message.
“Meet me there around 8.”
That was the plan.
And somehow everybody showed up.
We did stupid things.
We did REALLY stupid things.
And the greatest gift our generation ever received was:
THERE WERE NO CAMERA PHONES.
There are events from approximately 1975 through 1985 that exist only in the memories of the people who were there.
AND THAT’S EXACTLY WHERE THEY NEED TO STAY.
So yes…
Now we’re 67.
We like our recliners.
We like comfortable shoes.
We like restaurants at 5:00.
We like being home by 8:00.
And if somebody calls at 9:30 and asks:
“What are you doing?”
The answer is:
“Why the hell are you calling me this late?”
😂
We’re not boring.
WE’RE RETIRED FROM ACTIVE DUTY.
We’ve already closed the bars, stayed out until sunrise, made questionable decisions and somehow lived to tell about it.
So when younger people see us peacefully sitting at home and think:
“Man, you guys are boring.”
Sweetheart…
YOU’RE NOT LOOKING AT BORING OLD PEOPLE.
YOU’RE LOOKING AT RETIRED LEGENDS.
And thank God there isn’t much photographic evidence.

Son: Dad, how come I've never heard this one before?
Dad: Son, that's what kills me. There are songs from my generation that never got the recognition they deserved. Just listen to this voice.

This is the UAE Foreign Minister talking about Islamists rising in Europe.
You know why he chose to say it in English?
Because so often the media changes the translation to be “politically correct” in ways that completely miss the core message and appeases Muslims.
Why is @realDailyWire releasing their movie about Communism AFTER the election?
First frost due in the next day or two. My Cosmos are blooming like crazy, and Irises have started blooming again since yesterday. Roses have been blooming like crazy for months..
This is spectacular!
Michael and Susan Dell just gave $6.25 billion directly to 25 million American kids: $250 each, invested in the stock market through Trump Accounts.
Add $100 a month until age 18, and that $250 becomes $1.2 million by retirement.
At the market’s historical 7–10% average:
By age 18:
→ $250 alone: $850 to $1,400
→ Plus $100/month: $44,000 to $61,000
→ Plus $416/month (the max): $180,000 to $251,000
By 67, contributing until 18 and never touching it:
→ $250 alone: $23,000 to $148,000
→ Plus $100/month: $1.2 million to $6.6 million
→ Plus $416/month: $5 million to $27 million
By 67, contributing every month for life:
→ $100/month: $1.8 million to $9.6 million
→ $416/month: $7.6 million to $39.5 million
That’s why this is the greatest philanthropic gift in American history.
They didn't give it to a nonprofit, a foundation, or an NGO, but directly to 25 million American kids, as ownership.
Every one of them now owns a stake in the American economy and will grow up watching it grow.
They’ll learn how the stock market and compounding turn small, patient investments into real wealth.
God bless @MichaelDell and Susan Dell.
American patriots. 🇺🇸
P.S. Every American kid under 18 with a Social Security number now has a Trump Account. Activate it at TrumpAccounts.gov and start contributing.
Born 2025 or later? File Form 4547 to get $1,000 from the government.
