After the release of a mod that enabled offline play, along with custom maps, clothing and mods, EA has now been forced to respond. They say they're going to start bringing more freedom and custom features to players in the future, much like what the mod did. This is a huge W and just proves AI reverse engineering will hold these game studios accountable. Not only do they have to compete with other games, they now have to compete with an army of neurodivergent teens with Claude Code subscriptions. Competition is ALWAYS a good thing for the consumer.
