New homes for MUSLIMS.
Sadiq Khan spoke about building 40,000 new houses and took into consideration that muslims want to be closer to mosques and Halal stores.
The houses pledged are currently being built.
Project to end around 2030.

One thing that's surprised me about Andy Burnham is the extent to which he just lies.
He says this morning small boats are because of Brexit and "we can't return people".
The FACTS:
In last 5 years of Dublin agreement the UK took in far more migrants than it sent back.
2016: net 200
2017: net 150
2018: net 1000
2019: net 500
2020: net 800
Five years = net 2,500 more migrants than sent back.
Plus, now we'd have to sign up to the migration and asylum pact so the numbers will be enormous.
He knows this. His advisors know this.
They are just lying to you.

Who else thinks Angela Rayner doesn’t have a clue about what she is talking about ?

🚨Rupert Lowe just told Tower Hamlets Council he doesn’t believe them.
After they botched the date for their Islamophobia Awareness Month event, Restore Britain fired off a full FOI demand for every internal and external communication on the proposal, planning, approval, funding, organisation, content and promotion.
If it’s all above board, the documents should be boring. So why the reluctance to show them?
Taxpayers are paying for this. They get to see the paperwork.
@RupertLowe10 @TowerHamletsNow
Replying to @TowerHamletsNow
I don’t believe you. So Restore Britain has just sent in a lengthy FOI request demanding all internal and external communications specifically concerning the proposal, planning, approval, funding, organisation, content and promotion of the event.
Look forward to hearing back!

Rachel Reeves was never cut out to be Chancellor, in my opinion.
The writing was on the wall very early in her tenure.
Her struggles culminated in that unbelievable moment when she broke down in tears in the House of Commons.
Now there are reports she could quit Parliament to “cash in” on her experience as Chancellor.
I'm struggling to see what exactly there is to cash in on.

It comes after she "secretly met" two City companies in the last fortnight

Angela Rayner can’t name a single pound of spending that Labour will cut - not one! 🤯
We are £3 trillion in debt, borrowing more just to pay the interest.
Get a grip.

VETERANS wearing a Poppy are BANNED from from Wetherspoons
WOW. Manager of Gosport Wetherspoons states it’s ‘Company policy’ to not allow anyone in with a Remembrance Poppy on as it ‘could be political’
I can’t believe what I just heard from our nations biggest pub chain.
Veterans wearing a poppy are banned from Wetherspoons.

Remember when Angela Rayner’s department lost the islamophobia notes then claimed they deleted them under GDPR laws?
Well its absolute bollox, It turns out they lied to Parliament and the files were found completely intact on their IT systems
Now they are refusing to release them because they are shitting it we will find out exactly which islamist groups wrote the policy
This is a cover up to hide who is pulling the strings in government
Release the documents now Rayner

“Government money is taxpayers’ money.”
Conservative MP Nigel Huddleston reminds Labour minister that every pound the government spends comes from taxpayers, as public frustration grows over rising taxes and how their money is redistributed.

I’ve written many times about how the soft left on Labour’s backbenches are ‘economic illiterates’. This is proof positive. Beyond redemption in its misunderstanding of markets, supply, demand, taxes.
Nope, that’s not how taxes and price works. The price is determined by demand and supply.
Companies charge the highest price they can given demand. A tax levied on *profits* does not affect a company’s cost ie supply.
Taxes on *windfall* profits (like oil and gas) are the most efficient kind of tax there is.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Corporate profit taxes do not directly shift marginal costs but empirical studies show partial pass-through into higher consumer prices. Windfall taxes on oil and gas have deterred investment and production in practice despite theoretical efficiency on rents.
