One very useful maxim which can help a person seeking to avoid fractious conversations both online and offline, avoid needless altercations and misunderstandings with people in your life, is the Islamic legal maxim, Al-kalāmu yuḥmalu ʿalā niyyati al-mutakallim.
Speech is to be understood in the light of what the speaker intended.
This is at the core of all good faith conversations and debate. An easy way to offer someone good faith during an argument, a debate, or a conversation is simply to ask, what did you mean (or intend) by this? Not to assert: what you said implies so and so. That is what you say to someone whose intentions you do not trust. If you respect, or like the person you are talking to, or at least think that they are not a bad person, then it is helpful to find out what the intentions of a statement are, instead of superimposing some other context you happen to be aware of.

It's the end of the month so you want to pay your staff big money for doing next to nothing abi? @MTNNG. Please come and explain why you're giving me 450mbps on my SIM if not to drain the data I have left.
Then explain why Netflix, an app I don't have is consuming data?
This is crazy.
And brilliant.

The bike was 56m naira though and he bought 2 of it.
I get your point though. Seyi is over doing it.
Yusuf Buhari minded his business throughout his dad's administration. One accident on a power bike and the South was shouting, not even sympathizing, they never cared whether he was dead or alive. Their main problem was where he got the money to buy a ₦15 million bike 😂😂
Today, Seyi's convoy is worth ₦4 billion, moving around like he is the VP and nobody is moving a muscle.

Worst of all, this same guy has been arrested multiple times and always gets released.
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. This interview is deeply disturbing. Towards the end, the bandit allegedly claims that he buys guns from soldier called Abdul, some of whom he claims have even built houses with the money he gain from selling guns to them.
What makes this even more alarming is that he reportedly both he and the soldier lives in the same place where a kidnapping took place, where Sikiru was shot and nine people were abducted in PW Babban Saura.
This is heartbreaking. The very people entrusted with protecting our lives must not be complicit in the insecurity destroying us.
These allegations must be thoroughly investigated, and anyone found guilty must face the full consequences of the law. How can citizens feel safe when those meant to protect them are accused of enabling the very people terrorising them?
Haba dan Allah😭💔
What is happening in the North is exactly what happens when you do not make very examples of extremists and domestic terrorists.
There can be no other outcome.
Now!!!
Now the conversation has finally begun.
Na now una come.
Until then.

The first Samsung foldable was not exactly the best. It had its own issue also. With time the duo would be so incredible

During the “Extra Innings” show when some people bum rushed the gates…
There were 35 thousand people inside Yankee Stadium stuck INSIDE the building waiting between 3-6 hours for the concert to start and not a single soul thought about leaving.
And OUTSIDE the building there were another 10 thousand people waiting 3+ hours to get in and again, no one left.
This was on a Sunday night, people had work the next morning, prior commitments, missed flights, had to rearrange their stay and travel plans, etc.
Incredibly inconvenient, yet there was zero violence, hardly any boos, the crowd showed remarkable patience and grace considering the situation.
He finally took the stage after midnight, brought out a lineup of guests that not even the Grammys can pull off, and rocked that stage ‘til damn near 3am.
And everyone left satisfied.

Jay-Z has been the topic of conversation over the last week, being named the Super Bowl halftime performer and performing back-to-back shows at So-Fi Stadium in Los Angeles.
@Tmac_213 and @myfabolouslife have now chimed in on the conversation and respond to 50 Cent's claims that Jay-Z never dominated his era.
