🚨 TEACHER AVOIDS PRISON | 33,000+ CHILD ABUSE IMAGES INCLUDING CHILDREN AS YOUNG AS 2 Paul Aspden, 71, a former Nottinghamshire teacher who spent 35 years teaching children, has avoided immediate prison despite possessing more than 33,000 indecent images of children. Police seized his devices from his Bingham home in November 2024. The collection included 3,349 Category A images, the most serious classification, including footage depicting the rape of a two-year-old child. Aspden admitted accessing the material since “the early days of the internet”. At Nottingham Crown Court, he received a two-year prison sentence, suspended for two years. Judge Nirmal Shant KC said Aspden had been “concealing a double life”, adding that his former career as a teacher made the case all the worse. He must attend 20 rehabilitation sessions and is subject to a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order. He will also remain on the sex offenders register for 10 years. More than 33,000 images.
