1/2 No American should fear the legality of their marriage, and the Respect for Marriage Act gives Congress a chance to protect equal rights and the legal rights of hundreds of thousands of LGBTQ+ families. @IBM thanks @SenSchumer for prioritizing this important bill

IBM strongly believes recent actions and new proposals by state government targeting the #LGBTQ community and particularly #trans youth is discriminatory and wrongly creates fear and uncertainty for American families. Read our full statement from @cgrantpickens below.

This week, we're tracking over 300 anti-LGBTQ+ bills across 36 states. Here's our update on the “Terrible Ten.” These bills are the worst of the worst — and they're moving swiftly through state legislatures.
We need your help to fight back. Read this thread and share widely.

Thanks @cgrantpickens @EllaLSlade and @IBM for your continued leadership supporting the LGBTQ+ IBMers, their families, and friends in accordance with IBM value. This is part of a systematic attack not just in USA, but globally that continues to inflict trauma on our communities.

More than 60 major companies are calling on officials in Texas – and across the country – to abandon discriminatory efforts against trans youth and all LGBTQ+ people.
Discrimination is bad for business, bad for employees and bad for families.
Trans kids need our protection and support 🏳️⚧️💪 this order is simply horrific.

Beautiful shots of one of our proposed 3 venue clusters. From Hockey to Dance Sport and many more sports we hope to host all within walking distance of each other. Also home to our opening and closing ceremonies. #London2025 #EuroGames

Wayne Couzens was seen arresting Sarah Everard in Clapham with passerby’s completely unaware they were watching a kidnapping + premeditated murder. He used covid law + days later in the exact same spot more police used covid law to brutalise and attack women and non binary people

My heart is hurting, man.
She actually thought she'd done something wrong and was being arrested justly.
Can you imagine how terrified she must have been when she clocked what was happening?

An excellent piece here from my colleague @EllaLSlade. The workplace experience is different for everyone, but most notably the LGBTQ+ community. Understanding these differences is the first step towards rectifying them. #IBM #Diversity #HR benefitspro.com/2021/07/14/w…
