Over the past few months, ppl have criticized me for this pinned post. I'm one month off major surgery which is due to this accident. Police said they couldn't do anything, so no support or compensation. Victims deserve justice even if they've 'only' been hit by a bike.
Cyclist just rode into me, he was shouting at me so I pointed out that he ran a red light and I was on a (green man) crossing. He apologized. While I'm not blue light injured, I'm in a lot of pain. The red light is there for a reason, pedestrians need more focus @willnorman

Brutal but, of course (and as anyone outside Ms Truss’s immediate family can see), completely fair.

I love all these posts from people who one week say that all benefits should be taken away from "The Disabled", and now claim to care about people with disabilities because half a mile of street has been pedestrianised.

Serbia just voted out the party that held power for 14 years under authoritarian rule. People organized, showed up, and won. America, this could be us next week!

If you're sitting in a car and angry about congestion/ gridlock, I hate to tell you this, but you are part of the problem.

This is obviously going to be a great success and soon everyone will wonder why it wasn't done decades earlier.

Walking in the rain gets me where I need to be quicker than hopping on the bus as so many people get in their cars to keep dry. Happy, healthier and faster. Triple win.

I do worry for the people who are so very angry about 1/2 a mile of a street being closed. I'd recommend they go out for a walk to calm down 🤣

As someone with a chronic condition, a lot of the narrative about people with mobility issues is very patronising. #r4today

Great news about pedestrianisation of Oxford Street, but who’s policing the madcap cyclists? It’s not just a London problem, I’ve nearly been ploughed into when crossing on Green pedestrian light in Paris #R4today @TfL

I swear SOMETHING broke in society since 2020 and nobody wants to talk about it. And I’m not talking about masks, lockdowns, or COVID. I mean the FEELING of life. Everything reopened. We went back to work. Restaurants filled up. Events came back. But somehow life still feels… different. Years disappear faster. People feel more disconnected. Everything feels more expensive, stressful & rushed. And somehow we’re all constantly exhausted. I can’t even explain exactly what we lost. I just know life before 2020 felt more ALIVE. Tell me I’m not the only one who feels this.
