Replying to @billboard
“If I was a man, then I’d be the man.”
Too many NFL games? “Ruining the sport." Too few NBA games? "Fake fan." Her song The Man literally tracks the exhausting double standard she deals with just for existing in all spaces.
Ridiculous that this even had to be addressed. Why in the hell is a professional ball player going on a podcast and purity testing fans anyway?
Write the essay girl, I'll read it! You are so right. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

We got your back, New York!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Several figures here aren’t federal results or NY-specific. The $472B combines US wide pledges: Micron's $250B is nationwide (NY site $100B) Anthropic's $50B covers TX and NY. The 48% murder drop is from NY's state run GIVE program (28 departments, Jan – May 2026).

The production of this album is rich. Like eating some decadent chocolate cake with multiple layers drizzled with salted caramel sauce.

Is this exclusively a Chiefs problem? Of course not. It’s a problem with high-level sports as a whole.
Do the Chiefs deserve the embarrassment this is causing? Hell yes.
From @TheAthletic: The Kansas City Chiefs are the NFL franchise that provides cover for violent abusers, repeat offenders, and now, because they need someone to make a field goal, an unrepentant sleazeball, our columnist writes. It’s always the Chiefs. nyti.ms/4A4roRW
Beyond frustrated. I left the Steelers fandom for a long time because of Big Ben. We all have our breaking points when it comes to morality, and I won't purity test any NFL teams or fans...this is my choice, my limits. But it feels like such a huge kick in the teeth.

Oof, that hit.
Men may admire intelligent women in principle, yet respond differently when confronted with their intelligence in person. As I told @JosieCox_NYC, it is another way women are considered 'never quite right' at work.

"Strong character privately doesn’t totally absolve cowardly messaging publicly"
I agree with this well-written piece. Coachspeak made matters worse. I am struggling, though, to come up with words that Andy should have said instead that would have been in any way reassuring.
Andy Reid’s comments on Justin Tucker signing shows hollowness of NFL coachspeak awfulannouncing.com/nfl/andy…
Swifties/chiefs fans are pissed tfo about Tucker. Stop trying to turn this into a gotcha about swifties wanting taylor to be left out of other teams snark instead of being happy we're all taking a stand against this POS. The irony is insane 🙄 🧵
