In online shopping today, the hardest part is getting the first thirty reviews. Without sales, there are no reviews; but without reviews, it's very hard to get sales. If you could purchase the 5Pro on Amazon and provide an honest review, it would help me a great deal.
The 5Pro is now available in our Amazon US store. amazon.com/dp/B0HLRJ47WL?maa… There are currently no coupons available. If you purchase it on Amazon, remember to email [email protected] to request a $50 refund as an extra perk for my Twitter followers. We’d also greatly appreciate your honest reviews. We need reviews to help people who aren’t familiar with AirFanta get a more objective understanding of the product. Amazon also offers both “with carbon” and “without carbon” options. To select the “without carbon” option, click “See all buying options” to unlock it.

This is what happens when people in the health industry care only about profit and have no concern whatsoever for their clients’ health. Their pricing strategy has a single objective: maximizing profit. They acquire the licensing rights to drugs in their own country and then sell them at 20 times the price it should be. Even if many people cannot afford them and die as a result, the profits are still greater than what they would make by selling them at twice the price it should be.
Americans are smuggling Chinese cancer medications in their suitcase. 26 boxes of Zeggrovy will cost you $10k in China. AstraZeneca licensed it from the. Chinese company and is projected to sell it around $200k for the 26 boxes. We don’t have to live like this.

You may notice that the 5Pro’s screen is recessed and sits below the surrounding plastic. This is intentional. We expect many people will travel frequently with the 5Pro, and the screen is easy to damage from external impact. That’s why we designed it to be recessed—so that when it’s packed in a bag or carry-on, the screen is less likely to get pressed or damaged.

I just got an AirFanta 5Pro a few days ago. Does it really fit in a carry on suitcase, and is it quiet? Yes, and it can be very quiet at lower fan speeds but is a bit noisy on max fan speed. I ordered the 5Pro because I wanted an efficient whole room air purifier that is packable. I've already got a number of air purifiers I can fit in a suitcase, but none of them have really high airflows like the 5Pro does with it's 4 filter, CR Box-style configuration. CADR At max fan speed, the 5Pro has an AHAM registered Clean Air Delivery Rate of 379 cubic feet per minute for smoke in an 8' high room that's 587ft². That's 4.8 air changes per hour, or a smoke-free room in 12.4 minutes - I've not tested the CADR myself, but the testing is certified by AHAM on their website. You'll get higher air changes per hour in a smaller room, and fewer in a larger one. ahamdir.com/directory Packability When disassembled, the stack of 5Pro parts is well under 8" high and fits in to my carry on suitcase, or even a shopping bag - just not a TJs bag because they are fairly narrow. Unlike a regular CR Box, the filters are inserted into plastic panels that form the sides of the 5Pro, making for a nicer looking and more durable design that can be assembled and disassembled quickly and securely. The panels have magnets for quick alignment, and all 4 filter panels are the same, so assembly is easy. When the 5Pro's top, bottom and sides are disassembled the stack parts is under 8 inches total. However, the filters are exposed on one side of the panels, subject to potential damage during transport if not handled carefully. The stacked 5Pro doesn't fit into my suitcase if I add the foam included in the original packaging in between the layers of filters. I've stacked the filters with the grills outward to protect them, but that does leave them rubbing filter to filter in the stack. I generally check my bags when flying, but without being able to fit in the foam packing that the 5Pro ships with, I'd be reluctant to trust the bare stack as checked baggage in my soft-sided suit case. Your suitcase may have more room than mine since mine has the roller-bag extending handles nested on the inside of the suitcase rather than on the outside, and your luggage may have harder, more protective sides. The fit and finish of the 5Pro is good. The included 12V power supply is compact. And the control knob is simple to use - push to turn on or off, and rotate for different fan speeds. The fan speed percentage is shown on the display. Noise Levels There is a built in particle counter and an optional auto mode based on particle count, but for me my sleep is less disturbed if fan noise, even if relatively quiet, is continuous rather than intermittent. So I'm more likely to use the manual mode. But I like that there is a built in particle counter and auto mode option. The noise levels have a wide range. At 25% fan speed, the sound levels are too quiet for me to measure since the room I tried out 5P in had 34 dB ambient noise levels. The reported SPL for 25% fan speed is 28.5 dB, and it is very quiet. The CADR at that speed is 72 CFM. Sound becomes noticeable, but still pretty quiet at 45% fan speed, with a reported 39.5dB at a CADR of 174 CFM. (For comparison, the durable Nukit Tempest Pro has a CADR of 222 CFM at 37dBA, but it doesn't fit in a carry on suitcase.) Fan noise is annoying at the max fan speed. It's not just the volume, which isn't that loud at its reported 53.1dB, but the whine of the 4 fans sounds like a loud desktop computer on turbo mode with fans pouring on the speed to cool down the CPU - it's a different sound than a larger single fan air purifier. However, you can choose your prefered sound levels / CADRs. AirFanta has published CADRs for the 5Pro's entire fan speed range in the FAQ "What is the smoke CADR, power and noise level in different fan speed?" near the bottom of the page. air-fanta.com/products/airfa… Overall, the 5Pro has delivered on it's promises. It has high airflow and packability all in the same unit. I wish the max fan speed was a bit more pleasant sounding, but there is the option to turn the fan speed down for quieter operation at lower CADRs. Shipping in the US was very fast, just a couple of days. YMMV. It will take time to tell how durable and reliable the 5Pro is in the long run. I don't think this thing will sell in large volumes, because it's hard for the general public to understand. And it's not suitable for very cold places. I plan to crowdfund the mold costs (for the adaptor and fan blades), then produce a few hundred units and sell them on a non-profit basis. Any better suggestion?
Using the 5 Pro, I built a positive pressure air cleaner. It draws fresh air from outside the window, filters it, and then blows it into my office. In addition to reducing PM2.5, it is a machine that can address indoor VOC problems without needing an activated carbon filter (outdoor VOCs are extremely low except during wildfires), and it can also reduce indoor CO2 levels, which you can reduce by air purifiers. The reducer/transition piece on top is 3D printed. If we made a mold and produced it in the same white color, it would look much better than it does now.

These are the four probes we use to test the grille’s safety— to ensure that fingers cannot reach the blades and get cut. The 5 Pro comes with the grille shown on the left. If you need the other two child-safe grilles, we can provide them in a few months.
The current grille is designed in accordance with the safety requirements of UL 507. The finger probe specified in UL 507 is the UL 507 Figure 9.2 Articulate Probe with Web Stop (PA100A), a 25.4 mm adult finger probe. As a result, there is still a risk that a child’s finger could reach the fan. We are producing two additional grilles: 1. one compliant with IEC 61032 Figure 12 Test Probe 18 (Articulated Children Test Finger, 8.6 mm), which applies to children over 36 months and under 14 years of age, 2. and the other compliant with IEC 61032 Figure 13 Test Probe 19 (Small Finger Probe, 5.6 mm), which applies to children aged 36 months or less. If you need either of these grilles, we will offer it as an additional option once stock arrives; it will cost approximately USD 15-20, and a separate grille will be shipped to you so that you can simply replace the existing grille. Two points need to be made clear: (1) Compliance with a standard does not mean that a child’s finger can be 100% prevented from passing through, because human anatomy varies considerably; we can only design it based on the probe dimensions specified in the applicable standard. (2) Both grilles will affect CADR, and the specific values are still pending testing.

The fans on the 3 Pro had a very typical problem. If the unit was bumped or crushed during shipping, external force could easily travel through the structure to the bearing and deform it. Once the bearing deformed, the fan would start making noise. What made it worse was that the wiring for all four fans was soldered together—so if even one fan failed, we couldn’t replace just that one; we had to replace the entire four-fan assembly. That was obviously a bad deal for users; for us, it was also a lesson left by the design. So when designing the 5 Pro, we decided to start by getting repair-ability right: we made the fans easy to replace. The fans are attached to the top cover with screws. If a fan has a problem, you can replace it by simply removing and reinstalling a few screws. This way, even after the warranty expires, users can easily buy two fans for a very low price—$15–20 including shipping—to replace the damaged fan. You don’t have to replace a whole assembly because of one small fan. The other change was the tube that holds the bearing. We no longer use plastic; we use a CNC-machined copper tube. The copper tube has more precise dimensions and can withstand compression, so external force can hardly damage the bearing anymore. These two changes aren’t big, but they determine whether the machine can last and whether it’s affordable to repair. So our expectation for the 5 Pro is: extremely long life. It’s not easy to break, and if it does break, it’s easy to repair, and spare parts will be available long-term.

This kind of phenomenon has profound social causes. Over the past 40 years, China has made great efforts to cultivate engineers and scientists grounded in mathematics and physics (STEM fields). These fields offer easier employment and greater respect. As a result, among top-tier and second-tier students who perform relatively well in school, roughly 99% choose these majors; by contrast, humanities, arts, law, languages, and similar fields are generally chosen only by relatively lower-ranked students. Consequently, STEM-based industries in China have developed very well, because a large amount of talent is concentrated in this area. By comparison, humanities and arts-related fields—for example, software interfaces—have not developed well. The media industry is also weak: on the international media stage, Chinese media are basically invisible.
As much as I respect Chinese-made AI models and hardware, I'm equally puzzled by how rough most of the software still is. Whether it's Wechat or Alipay or HarmonyOS. You'd think getting unique aesthetics, perfect fidelity, and great flows would be "easy", but clearly it is not.

I suggest adding one more CADR metric to the AHAM certification: the CADR at a fan speed where the noise does not exceed 45 dB (sound power level, which converts to roughly 36 dB sound pressure level at 1 meter). This is a noise level acceptable to most people. The CADR at this noise level is of significant importance. The AirFanta 5Pro achieves this noise level at 40% fan speed: 151 CFM,  5 W.
This is important because noise determines the level of usage of an air cleaner. Experience has shown that many people will turn off the air cleaner or run at a very low speed if they consider it "too noisy." That is why stating CADR on the highest speed is questionable.
