It really was a whole different world back then. We just went through 8 years of Obama and were expected to go through at least 4 more of Clinton.
That upset inspired and gave hope to a lot of young people on the right that anything was possible. It’s tough to look at that and see where we are today. It was a good start, but now the next generation has to finish it

Belgium’s Federal Parliament just passed a divisive law that allows police to raid people’s homes for migration control. Now they can enter private homes, including those hosting undocumented migrants, between 5am and 9pm and search for identity documents – even if children are present.
Belgium traditionally shows strong solidarity towards migrant communities, and this ‘home raids’ law will discourage them from doing so in the future. No one should be scapegoated for soaring costs of living and economic insecurity. The law must be immediately reversed.

Brother, I have absolutely no problem encouraging young men to succeed, work hard, lead, and build good lives. In fact, I think we need more of that. But why does their skin color have to be part of the encouragement? Why not encourage all young men?
I understand the frustrations you’re describing, but I don’t believe the answer to racial division is more racial division. As Christians, we should be pointing young men toward their identity in Christ, not their identity as white or black.
I want young men to win, too. All of them. And I don’t see why we need to put race in front of that.

It’s such a shame that, after the Black Death, European countries chose to wait 200 years for their populations to recover from losing 30–60% of their people instead of simply importing 50 million non-Europeans.
The massive labour shortage led to a dramatic acceleration in the decline of serfdom in Western Europe, because serfs were in demand and could negotiate higher wages, better working conditions and the freedom to move.
The selfish serfs’ choice to improve their lives, instead of thinking about GDP growth and importing millions of non-Europeans to help the economy, also forced the already poor feudal lords to invest in new machinery and tools so they could employ fewer people and offset rising wages.
All because of their racist agenda of not wanting to import 50 million non-Europeans.

I'll try to explain this as succinctly as possible:
These types of Western "otaku" are usually members of "fandoms," which are communities based around shared media consumption habits. These groups are generally not interested in meaningful cultural exchange, even if the media in question is heavily steeped in Japanese culture. It is only superficial consumption.
These communities are usually taken over by the loudest people with the most free time, who are most often Leftists. Anyone with right leaning views is inevitably excised for the purpose of ideological uniformity.
These Leftists are pro-consumerism. They justify this through endless "critique" through a Leftist lens. As long as they are sufficiently critical, or as long as the media in question is sufficiently "progressive," they have license to indulge as much as they want.
Leftists also view Japan as a wicked racist patriarchal colonial power, therefore critique of Japanese media always bleeds in to criticism of the Japanese themselves. This often results in outright hatred of the Japanese people being either tolerated or rewarded by these same communities.
