Hispanics under the age of 30 have not only exceeded their total turnout at this point in 2024, they have almost doubled it.

I’d vote yes. He can be sidelined in the Senate.

"I want to be a senator for every Texan who can't afford one." Hell of a line from @jamestalarico in the rally clip below, commenting on the mind-blowing sum of special interest money being spent on behalf of Ken Paxton, led Elon's more than $150 million.
Talarico: This election is a battle between the powers that be and the powers that ought to be. The powers that be have chosen their candidate. They have bought and paid for Ken Paxton.  But we are standing with the powers that ought to be the teachers and the nurses, the farmers and the ranchers. The grandmother who is facing eviction, the little boy who's waking up in the middle of the night from the lights of the data center, the small business owner, who is struggling to keep his family restaurant open. Those Texans are my team.  They are why I'm in this race. I want to be a senator for every Texan who can't afford one. You want to know why they are spending $200 million against me? Because I don't take their money, and I never will. I don't work for them. I work for you

Go @jamestalarico! Go @GinaHinojosaTX! 162k votes cast so far by those who didn’t vote in 2024. 2/3 are voters of color, over half are Hispanic. And Texas Public Opinion Research just released newest poll with James up 4: 51-47
162k votes have been cast in Texas already by non-2024 voters. Over 2/3rds are voters of color, just under half are Hispanic.

Good for him. Leading the Future PAC is strong arming politicians against questions & guardrails to protect Americans, our children and national security . . . they are against any pause, even though advocated by the frontier AI organizations. nytimes.com/2026/09/30/techn… via @NYTimes

I might not have much faith in Trump & his coterie of billionaires, but I am liking the sound of The Alliance for Critical Infrastructure, especially its call to set guardrails around AI's use. bit.ly/4jhhCH9

SCOOP: OpenAI, Anthropic and security researchers are investigating tens of thousands of incidents - not dozens - in which their frontier models took steps that outside evaluators would consider problematic, sources told Axios. The sheer volume of incidents found in our reporting indicate that the problem is orders of magnitude more complex than what is currently publicly known and disclosed. The findings also raise questions about what level of control anyone working on AI development can expect to have over their own technology, and whether these kinds of incidents are becoming synonymous with frontier deployment.
