I'll be joining the live stream this afternoon. Please tune in. The French state tried to ban the conference, and now all of Europe is speaking about it. Make the repression backfire by spreading this link as far as possible.

This point, that authorities will come for (and make examples of) ordinary people who have committed wrong-think, was the inspiration for our final @EuroConMag cover.
I appreciate John Cleese’s boldness in speaking out against the ideology of Islam and its impact on the west. But we just learned today that a retired British police officer was arrested for making a mild (and true!) joke about Islam.
The UK authorities are not going to overplay their hand by arresting famous beloved Brits like John Cleese (yet). Instead they are arrest ordinary grandmothers and fathers who say much more mild things than Cleese.
It would be good for him to use his voice to support those who do not enjoy his fame, but who have been arrested by his government for saying the same things he does.

Thanks so much to @jungefreiheit for giving @FantinoVienna a chance to tell the story of @EuroConMag and @EuroConOfficial.

Replying to @EuroConMag
Of all the print publications I have written for in my 40 years as a professional writer, the two where I did not have to censor myself at all were Creole Magazine of Lafayette, Louisiana under the redoubtable Ruth Foote, and the European Conservative, under Ellen and Mario Fantini. Any journalist will recognise what a God-given gift that is.

Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for whatever @FantinoVienna and @FantinaVienna have planned in future.

The cover of Issue 12, produced before we had any funding, courtesy of a Portuguese reader who collected all issues of our magazine!
On the cover: that’s Canova’s “Theseus vs the Centaur” (located at the KHM in Vienna) — civilization vs barbarism — which inspired our logo.

Please take a moment to read this statement from our friends at @EuroConMag
"There was nothing like The European Conservative: a publication where philosophy, theology, culture, and politics could be treated as parts of one civilizational inheritance."

Replying to @BalazsOrban_HU
@hu_conservative was launched as a poor imitation of @EuroConMag — copying the design, the format, the captions, even poaching some of the same writers.
Any publication that starts with no vision of its own is always going to drift when the patronage changes.

Lotus Eaters on YouTube censoring the Vienna conference and Renaud Camus!

Two weeks ago, YouTube suppressed video of our Vienna conference with @EuroConMag, @Harry_pitt, @RenaudCamus, and @MartinSellner_ on the grounds that it violated that website's rules against "hate speech." Today, we learned the real reason: successful lobbying on the part of an outfit calling itself the Global Project Against Hate and Extremism (GPAHE).
globalextremism.org/post/fol…
Don’t be fooled by the grand name: GPAHE is headquartered in Montgomery, Alabama, and seems to have exactly two employees (though I suppose one cannot *entirely* exclude the possibility that its other staff are in hiding for “security reasons,” as the organization’s website would seem to suggest).
This organization is just the latest vehicle of hate entrepreneur and SPLC stalwart Heidi Beirich, a woman now under federal indictment for illicitly transferring $1.2 million in donor funds to her live-in-lover, an actual neo-Nazi and sometimes SPLC informant.
When they wish to police the frontiers of "respectable" discourse, it is obviously to such models of moral probity as Heidi Beirich that clown world's largest corporations turn. And that is at it should be, for it is in clown world that we live and we must obey its rules.

Dès qu'une vidéo où l'on entend Renaud Camus parler circule un peu trop, Youtube la censure, et ce quelque soit le sujet. YouTube ne motive jamais précisément ses décisions.
In case you missed the YT premiere yesterday, here is the full video of The Forge | Will Europe Survive? | Renaud Camus & Martin Sellner.
@Harry_pitt hosts an urgent conversation between the French writer @RenaudCamus and the Austrian activist @MartinSellner_. Is it all over for Europeans? Or will we wake up before it is too late?

The same day that Youtube takes down video of last March's Vienna conference, Instagram suppresses the Remigration Summit's account. Coincidence?
Reminder: these are *American* companies, one owned by Google and the other by Meta.
🇪🇺 Meta has permanently banned the Instagram accounts of European activist groups @RESUM26 and @actionradareu, removing years of posts and content from the platform.
The groups condemned the bans as an attack on free speech and called on U.S. politicians who criticise Europe’s censorship laws to also challenge American tech companies for banning European activists.
