Tom Cruise is reportedly pissed ‘OPPENHEIMER’ will be taking away all of the IMAX screens from ‘MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: DEAD RECKONING’. Cruise has furiously showed the film to exhibitors to convince them to switch from ‘Barbie’ & ‘Oppenheimer’. (Source: puck.news/the-tom-cruise-vs-…)

My first job in tv was $9 an hour in 2016. When I left 2 years ago I was making $14.40 an hour. When I left the station was hiring ppl at such low salaries they couldn’t afford rent and were being offered housing in a manager’s garage.

The idea that you could pour a year or more of your life into a project, actually shoot it, get right up to the finish line on it, and then watch it evaporate into the ether for a corporate tax break is a nightmare. I feel so hard for everyone reeling from this right now.
