BREAKING: AG Todd Blanche announces Jacksonville will be part of the DOJ's Model Cities Initiative, backed by nearly $300 million in planned federal investments across select U.S. cities.
Blanche says the funding, secured through the One Big Beautiful Bill, will support cities committed to working with the federal government to strengthen public safety and reduce crime.
"What we decided that we would do at the Department of Justice is we would find cities where there was the will and the commitment, and we would help provide the way with the funding. And that's exactly what we've done here in Jacksonville."
